Finally: A checklist
To avoid copying and plagiarism you can use this checklist:

When you examine,

mean, think, claim, point
out to signal that you
are not presenting your
own ideas.

similar to the source text
you should quote instead.

Choose striking and
unique quotes which
underline what you mean
to say.

Put the citation in direct
connection with the
quote.
Block quotations or run-
in quotations.
