Executive Ulman Showcases New Telemedicine
Technology for Medical Services to Elementary
School Students, Using Broadband

ELLICOTT CITY, MD Howard County Executive Ken Ulman will join U.S. Senator Barbara A.
Mikulski, Howard County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Renee Foose, Councilperson
Calvin Ball and members of the Howard County Council, and Howard County Health Officer
Dr. Maura Rossman to showcase the Countys new school-based health center and
telemedicine technology.

A first-in-the-state program, Howard County is pioneering school-based wellness centers in
elementary schools this fall that use telemedicine powered by the Inter-County Broadband
Network to provide medical services for children.
