both the Tysons and Fashion Centre at Pentagon City Locatons. These workshops are open to 4-H members aged 9 and

Smart Game Designing - TYSONS - Wednesdays - October 15, 22, 29 & November 5, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Design. Develop. Compete. Want to play a game that doesnt exist yet? You could simply make it yourself. In this Designers
program, go behind the screens with TouchDevelop and ProjectSpark to learn how to build and publish amazing mobile
games. As a game maker game, ProjectSpark will allow you to make your own virtual world and bring it to life so you can cre-
ate games, movies, and unique digital experiences. With TouchDevelop, youll remix, share and play amazing new games, all
right on your phone. Smart Game Designing runs four consecutive weeks, two hours each. Each attendee is expected to attend
all four sessions.

Cre8tive Photography - PENTAGON CITY - Tuesdays - October 14, 21, 28, & November 4, 3:30-5:30 p.m.
Learn the techniques pro shutterbugs use, like the Rule of Thirds, angles, perspective, and other tips in the photography work-
shop. Youll also be introduced to Adobe Photoshop Express, Microsoft Windows Photo Gallery tools to fix red eye, adjust fo-
cus, set mood, and crop images to make your shots more compelling. Each attendee is expected to attend all four sessions.

Smart Movie Making - TYSONS - Wednesdays - November 12, 19, 26 & December 3, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Shoot. Edit. Watch. Capture all the action without the lights or fancy camera. Unleash your imagination and start making real
movies right from your phone or tablet. Using Windows Phone and Surface Pro, well teach you how produce, direct, design
and animate your own flicks, any time you want. Get ready to impress and share your masterpieces with your family and
friends! Smart Movie Making runs four consecutive weeks, two hours each. Each attendee is
expected to attend all four sessions.

Smart Photo Taking - TYSONS - Mondays - December 8, 15, 22, 29, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Point. Snap. Perfect. Why do some photos just pop? Learn new tricks for taking great photos
from your phone. Well teach you how to edit photos, adjust lighting and colors, and even
apply filters for more effects. Beyond basic images, well help you build interactive worlds in
Photosynth, make yourself into art with Photo Fuse, and create huge panoramas with Gigipix-
el ArtZoom. Smart Photo Taking runs four consecutive weeks, two hours each. Each attendee
is expected to attend all four sessions.
