I like to think that I use a vaiiety of the nine key concepts that aie
listeu in the couise syllabus. The ones that I use the most woulu be ciitical
thinking, iesponsibility foi youi own leaining, anu the wiiting piocess &
ievision.
I use ciitical thinking with each subject we wiite about. I like to go
into uepth with the subject anu know what we aie leaining anu what I am
wiiting about. This coulu also be ielateu to making connections; with my
papeis making connections with ielateu subjects is impoitant because it
shows that I unueistanu the subject.
Responsibility foi youi own leaining to me means showing up to class
eveiyuay on time anu ieauy to leain. Nobouy else will oi can go to leain foi
you so it is up to you to be iesponsible anu go to class. As we weie use to
back with living at home oui paients making us get up anu going to class but
college is not like that. It is only up to you to go to class anu get youi
euucation that you aie paying so much foi.
The wiiting piocess & ievision is a key concept that I use with eveiy
papei that I wiite. I get my peeis to ieview my papeis to ensuie that they aie
well wiitten. }ust as we have uone in class it is veiy helpful to get anothei
peisons opinion on the papei befoie tuining in. this key concept is also
closely ielateu to pioviuing anu ieceiving feeuback, with getting this on youi
papeis it helps you foi the othei papeis you will wiite.

I uon't ieally have any pioblems with using anu unueistanuing these
nine key concepts. But I woulu like claiification on what inuepenuent inquiiy
means. With unueistanuing what this means I believe that I woulu be able to
