Ice-Breaker Activity with M&Ms: When the M&Ms are passed around, take as many as you want but keep two. You can eat the rest!
Now look at the two you kept. Depending on what colors they are, tell everyone your answers to the following questions when your turn comes up. If you have two of the same color, give two answers!
Red What was the last book you read, and what did you think of it? Orange What's your favorite kind of candy and why? Yellow What was the best thing that happened to you this week? Green What do you like about coming to the library? Blue What's the coolest place you've ever traveled to? Brown If you could meet anyone from history, who would you meet and why? Fun Fact: In Hershey, PA, street lights on the main street are shaped like Hershey Kisses!
Here's an idea you can have fun with at home: Invent your own candy bar! Think of all your favorite flavors you'd like to see in a candy bar, and then make a poster advertising your creation--don't forget to think of a clever name for your invention! Did You Know? Swiss people eat an average of 21 lbs of chocolate per year, yet Switzerland has some of the lowest rates of heart failure and obesity in the world!

Ingredients: Chocolate Chips 4 tbsp butter, softened This is a chocolate mold 2.5 cups confectioners sugar Light corn syrup Vanilla Flavored oils: mint, lemon, coconut, raspberry, or whatever you like!

Directions: 1. Melt your chocolate chips in the microwave. 2. Use paintbrush to coat a thin layer of melted chocolate on the bottom and sides of the mold. 3. Place the mold in the freezer until the coating is hardened. 4. Mix together the sugar and butter. Add tablespoons of corn syrup until mixture is smooth and you can shape it into a ball. 5. Split up the filling into various flavors as needed. 6. Add the filling into your chocolate mold as desired. 7. Seal the chocolates with a layer of melted chocolate. 8. Place the mold in the freezer for 10-15 minutes until the chocolate is hard to the touch. 9. Carefully remove the chocolates.
