Criterion A: Inquiring and analyzing

A picture is worth a thousand words is this true?

I think that a picture is worth a thousand words, because a
picture contains a thousand things that people will miss. To be
able to describe a picture, you would have to look at the
picture for a while and look at the details. To be able to
understand a picture you would have to think and observe the
picture, find the purpose of the picture. We need to look at the
picture and do research about it and find out why it was made
or what is the message that its trying to give out. So my
examples would be my profile picture on steam. Its a picture of
a shark but I could not find out whats the emotion of the
animal. Why did the creator create this picture in this way or
what is he/she trying to tell us. Another example would be a
picture of my family, people dont know my emotions during
the photo because I dont smile or make a sad face.

Criterion B : Developing Ideas
Why Design?

Design helps us build our structures by enabling us to build strong structures that
can withstand Mother Nature. Design also allows us to become creative people and build
things that have unique features. Without design people wouldnt be able to build structures
that could even stand, which would make life difficult. If design didnt exist people wouldnt
be able to achieve what we have now and life wouldnt be the same. Design helps us open
our minds and makes us a creative person, thats why people are unique. People have
unique ideas so that we can design.
