Part 1.
Recently Apple has released its operating system IOS 8 along with their new
Iphone 8. IOS 8 has many new features in it that make quick faster and the most powerful
operating system has ever released. But what stands out the most is IOS 8 protection on
the phones of your information from the police. Apples CEO Tim Cook said in a blog
this week I want to be Absolutely clear that we have never worked with any government
agency from any country to create a backdoor in any of our products Why is this
important? Now it doesnt allow police to access information on your phone even with a
warrant or any other way possible. The only police can get the information you have on
your phone is by seizing the computer that the phone would be plugged into. But how
does that affect us regular citizens, does it help criminals in any way shape or form?
Perosnally I am for this, I think that police should not have access to our private lifes and
information whenever they want it eliminates privacy in the public eye. You never know
what the cops may be looking on if they can access your files and data when every they
want. In addition knowing that police cant access information that means the servers are
safer from online hackers and such people. All and all I think apple is moving forward in
the right ways to help protect their customers feel safer and have them know that their
information and privacy is safe.

Part 2.
- Bing / Apple shielding data from police
- Yahoo / Apple protection from police
- I thought Bing was the better search engine. When I searched the words I typed in
more articles with specific words I typed in on the topic. Yahoo on the other hand
gave me tons of results but were not specific to what I was looking for they just
took each word and looked up sources with or articles with just the worlds apple
or police.
Part 3
1. Time- September 18, 2014 no it has not been updated.
2. Relevance- It is about the exact topic that was in the other article I found
3. Authority- Richard Davies is the author he covers business and the marketplace
for ABC news radio, he also writes for the morning business memo for
ABCNews.com. He has written 667 total stories for ABC news web page.
4. Accurate- This information is accurate ABC is a trust worthy source and is
supported by plenty of evidence and quotes.
5. Purpose It was meant to inform this article about what apple is doing with the
new ios 8 security. There was a little bias material but understandably since the
writer is a normal citizen as well as a writer.

1. Iphone 6, zdnet. Zbnet is a credible world wide source.

The CNN Article talked more about the police use of IOS and how they can not
specifically access them but the Zbnet article talked about how the government could still
use it but more for nationally security reasons. Using CNN was a little easier to access
than the Zbnet site finding this article was easier to just find and click on (cnn) rather
than search and click through pages and use advance search(zbnet). Both are up to date
both were written on the 18
th
of September. But in the end Zbnet is a more creditable
