Sanitary Permit To Operate Database (SPTOD)

Keeping lists of the different sanitary inspection reports for the establishments of Bauan is a burden to
the Rural Health Unit. People are always moving, and business records are constantly changing,
especially that in the world of entrepreneurs, nothing is an assurance for a long time.
If you use the conventional method of keeping this information available, you wind up with
computer documents that dont have enough information, and could be inaccurate or be
corrupted in transferring files.
The goal of our SPTOD will be to handle the different types of names, establishments, addresses, term of
the permit that are very important to the department. By keeping an Electronic sanitary inspection
reports, we can have one source that keeps everything up to date and accurate.
Even though the first step in creating a workable database is not building the data first, it is
important that you have a handle on the kind of data and problems the data will create. In
most cases where you are building a new database, the data exists in some form or another. A
good database designer researches the existing data before proceeding with the database
design.
A municipality of Bauan has one rural health unit. This RHU distributes Sanitary inspection
