Mission Statement
Mission Statement
The mission of Conley Elementary is to provide
a safe and positive learning environment that
maximizes student potential, celebrates
diversity and prepares students to be critical
thinkers, problem-solvers and productive
citizens.
Goals
Goals
To increase the student passing percentage on STAAR to 90% and
commended performance to 50%
To reduce the gap to 3% between specific student populations on
district and state assessments, specifically special education, LEP, and
African -American
To provide training in order to integrate technology into the daily
curriculum in order to enhance learning
To increase daily attendance to 98%
To promote positive behaviors for our students and decrease office
visits by 25% using the Conley Discipline Framework
To promote a positive relationship between parents and the
community

Special Programs
Dyslexia
Dyslexia is a specific language-based disorder
of constitutional origin characterized by
difficulties in single-word decoding, usually
reflecting insufficient phonological processing.
Special Education
Virtually every teacher at Conley will have
some
students in his/her classroom who are
receiving some
form of special education services. All
teachers are
required by law to provide instruction at that
students
level, according to the decision made by the
ARD
committee.
