NO AGENDA ACTIONS
1 Welcoming Speech
1.1 The chair person thanked all the teachers who
attended the meeting.
1.2 She hoped that activities planned by this year will
be carried out succesfully.
2 UPSR Examination 2007 Result analysis.
2.1 UPSR result for English subject had been increase
from 63.2% to 70.3%. All members
2.2 All the committee need to work together to improve
the result for the coming year at least 10% increament.
2.3 Intensive class and Scheme Baucer Tution for Year
6 will be incharged by Pn. Norlein.
2.4 English Panel Notice Board and English Cottage
will be incharged by Pn. Hamidah and Pn. Suhailah. Pn. Hamidah & Pn Suhailah
3 English Panel Yearly Planning 2008
3.1 English Panel had received Reading Extensive Kits
for Year 3 and Year 4 .
3.2 Hoped all the materials provided to school will be
used wisely. All members
3.3 English Week will be carried out on 21st April 2008
untill 25th April 2008.
3.4 Suggested activities are a) Spelling bees b) word
puzzle.
3.5 The materials will be provided by Pn. Suhailah and
Pn. Hjh Azizah.
4 English HSP and Yearly Planning
4.1 Pn. Suhailah hoped all English teacher have their
HSP and Yearly Planning. All English Teachers
4.2 These 2 items must be in the EPM file and 1 copy
must be in The English Panel File.
4.3 Pn. Hjh Azizah said, she will contact Mr. John Pn. Hjh Azizah
Ayavu to get the latest Yearly Planning.

5 Enlish Panel PCG budget 2007/2008

5.1 Pn. Suhailah had been informed by the clerk that
the school not yet received any budget for this year.
5.2 Teachers must hold any purchasing materials untill
school receive the budget.
5.3 English ABM kept by the teacher who teach the
related class.
5.4 ABM purchased by English Panel last year are :-
 Occupation – A Rubber stamp
 Occupation – B Rubber stamp
 White board Roll – up Board (Double line)
 White board sentence maker
 White board picture cards.
 Sentence board.

6 Pupils’ Exersice Books / Workbooks

6.1 Phase 1 pupils use SPEED book as their workbook.
6.2 Phase 2, Year 4 use SPEED book and Text
completion, Year 5 – No workbook, Year 6 – 4 Work
book.
6.3 All pupils use 4 exercises book ( Grammar /
Vocabulary and Spelling / English 1 / English 2 )
