Brazil is made up of many religions but the primary religion is Catholicism. Christ the Redeemer Christ the Redeemer is the largest art deco statue in the world. It was finalized in 1931 standing at 98 feet tall. The statue is of Jesus Christ with his arms outstretched symbolizing peace. Amazon River The Amazon river is the second largest river in the world next to the Nile river. There are over 10 million living species, and has over 3,000 recognized species of fish with more to be discovered. National Cuisine

If a woman wishes to shake hands with a man, she should extend her hand first. Relationship Building Most Brazilians marry young in their 20s. It is not liked when couples live together and are not married. Men are the primary bread winners and women care givers.
Communication Style in Decision Making Brazilians are more comfortable doing business with companies and people the know. Brazilians take time when negotiation. They use local lawyers.
Power Structures in Decision Making It is best to make business appointments within two-three weeks in advanced. Decisions are made by the highest ranked person.
Difference in body language We show appreciation through hugging, kissing or gifting. Our rude sign language is the flipping of the middle finger. For good luck we dont really have a symbol its just more a a phrase.
Differs in Communication style In the United States it is rude to interrupt a person in a business meeting. Business meeting that are of importance are never delayed. Americans come into a business meeting knowing there is going to be a little bending in what he/she is looking for.
Differences in Power Structure Expect to be interrupted while you are speaking or making a presentation. This is considered rude.
Internet The most popular internet cites are Facebook, Orkut, windows live, twitter, vostu and more. There are 79 million internet users. Power Distance Brazil has a score of 69. All individuals in society are not equal. Uncertainty Avoidance United Stated Hofsteds Indulgence is at a 68. This shows hard work, and play just as hard, no drugs, and a prudish society. Indulgence United States Hofstede Masculinity is at a 62. We have the strive to be the best we can be. Along with this we love to succeed.
