IGATE HOLDS PLACEMENT DRIVE AT BADDI

UNIVERSITY
IGATE, one of the most prominent IT companies in the world, held a joint recruitment drive in
Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology. 104 students were shortlisted by the
company. Post selection, these students would be placed across different locations in India at a
package of 3.25 lacs per annum. More than 500 students from Baddi University and nearby
colleges appeared in the recruitment process. The selection process consisted of written
aptitude test and technical and HR interview.

This is noteworthy that Baddi University is becoming one of the favourite choices of the
corporate for holding various recruitment and other activities. Director Placements, Baddi
University, Mr. Sanjiv Erry said, We are getting very good signals from the industry, wherein a
lot of recruitment activity is expected this year. Zensar, Data 64 and IGATE have already visited
the campus and many more are in the pipeline. However, students must also focus on the soft-
skills as this would be one of the key factors for success in interview.
