Junior: Co- founder Co-founded by myself, this group focused on introducing an amendment to the American Disabilities Association. I was often selected to be the leader of multiple aspects of our advocacy for this issue. For example, I contacted many local groups and political representatives to inform them about this issue, and was even selected as one of two members to give a speech about the issue preceding the Senator Lehners speech at a rally that we organized. Lead multiple approaches towards raising awareness of those with disabilities, spoke at rallies, and helped found Advocacy for Equal Facilities.

2 Vice-President For my schools chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS), I was elected as Vice-President. My roles in this position involved directing multiple NHS meetings, collaborating with NHS teacher and officers to improve efficiency of the group, filling in as President, and recording all members volunteer hours. I often helped with study tables, parking patrol, school cleanup, and the humane society through NHS service. Varsity member My interest in philosophy and public speaking motivated me to join my local high schools speech and debate team. As a member, I wrote cases on issues regarding the morality of current international affairs, and presented these cases in the form of public speaking at various debate tournaments. 2 Junior: Member Senior: Member The Junior Council of World Affairs (JCOWA) focused on raising awareness of international affairs and provoking discussion amongst the topics to its members. To test our knowledge of various topics given, students attended multiple quiz bowls and information sessions along with other JCOWA clubs in the area in friendly competition. My group ranked 6 out of 55 teams during the last quiz bowl. Represented my school through multiple debates and quiz bowls regarding eminent international affairs. Medical Exposure

I became aware of many important aspects of medicine which I had not previously considered such as how one should approach conflictions in insurance policies, coax information from patients, and determine the best courses of treatment. Volunteer At the Diggs Research Lab, I helped further the research of DNA replication checkpoints by serving as a volunteer for the lab. I provided support to researchers by creating gels, pipetting, mediums for cell growth, and performing small experiments to increase efficiency in the lab. Aided researchers with multiple procedures and conducted experiments. 10-12 Volunteer at Soin Hospital 2 40 Volunteer My role as a volunteer often varied from guiding visitors to patients rooms, notifying administration on how some hospital procedures could be improved, and preparing beds and equipment for patients coming in to the emergency room. Youth Club Member The focus of this organization was to serve as a community for the Indian population in Dayton, help organize cultural events, and help raise awareness about Indian culture. As a member of this club, I often got to meet individuals of different nations while expressing my cultural background as well. Volunteered at many cultural events intended to raise awareness about Indian culture.

1 20 Charter Member The Kiwanis Club is an international organization directed towards the purpose of improving the lives of children throughout the world. Our local chapter raised money for children on multiple magnitudes, ranging from collecting donations for children in our community to international organizations such as the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF). 6 Horizons in Medicine student As one of 20 selected students from the region to participate in this program, I had the opportunity to familiarize myself with the rigor of medicine through this program. I attended lectures over major medical topics such as biochemistry, pharmacology, medical terminology, and anatomy/physiology. Additionally, I presented a medical research project to members of the group and listened to multiple lectures given by successful doctors in the area. Awarded 1 year full tuition scholarship to Wright State University upon completion of this program.

24 State Science Fair participant For my honors biology class, I completed a science fair project that involved in answering questions about how different types of footwear, or the absence of, influenced individuals running stance. Experimentation for the project lasted for about 5 months, and my partner and I presented our findings at the district and regional science fairs before we progressed to the state level. Student At the local martial arts training center, I learned multiple self-defense techniques and styles of Thai kickboxing and boxing. Sessions lasted over 2 hours and were extremely intense, allowing me to condition my physical health rapidly. Practiced boxing and Thai kickboxing at TAMA Martial Arts center.

Junior Varsity runner I joined the Beavercreek XC team in my junior year. As a member, I often ran in the morning before school started, and after school for practice daily.
