Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter in response to your artcile about the role of the father in the familly
nowadays. I feel it is changing from what it used to be in the past and fathers should adapt to the
new conditions.
On one hand, it is certain that fathers should assume financial responsability, as money is important
for family, in order to obtain food, clothes, security and so on. The needs of the family should be put
on the first place and these are basic things a father should obtain.
On the other hand, earning money for the family is not enough, especially nowadays. A father should
also teach their children how to behave and spend quality time with them. For the good of the
family, spending time with them is also important, as the father is supposed to show he is connected
with his member, and that he doesnt earn the money for them just because he is forced to.
In conclusion, a father should keep a balance between his career and the time spent with his family,
as both of these are important. Children, in particular, need both material protection and well-being
as well as a emotional connection with their father. This is what is called the relationship between
children and father.
Overall, it is up to the fathers to adapt to the new challanges of the modern life and the greater
effort required to support the family. I hope that my point of view is shared by others too, as I
strongly consider that this is the real role a father should have.
