Launch(10minutes):HavestudentsworkontheAssociative/CommutativeWarmupworksheet.They
mayworkingroupsoralone,howevertheybestlearn.
Displaythesewarmupdirectionsontheboard.

Toshowadditiondrawthechipsawayfromthegroupwithanarrowindicating
theyarebeingaddedtothegroup.
