2. The teacher will show the students the location of Rhode Island in the Northeast
and tell them the state capital and climate.
3. The teacher will explain that we will be researching some important aspects of
Rhode Island using a web-based Scavenger Hunt. (Objective 1)
4. The teacher will hand out the laptops and answer sheets to each students.
5. The teacher will tell the class how long they have to complete the assignment.
6. Students will work individually to find the answers to their scavenger hunt.
(Objective 1)
7. The teacher will tell the class that if they finish their Scavenger Hunt before their
classmates, they should hand in the laptop and begin working on something in their
writing folder quietly in their desk.
8. The teacher will walk around and make sure the students are working on the
Scavenger Hunt and not side- tracked by another website.
9. The teacher will collect all laptops, as the students are finished with them.
10. The teacher will call on students to give the answers they found and collect them
once all ten are shared. (Objective 2)

questions read aloud to them.
