NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN KICKS OFF NEW BASEBALL ATTRACTION

GARDEN DEPICTS YANKEES AND REDSOX RIVARLY IN FLOWERS

BRONX, NEW YORK- New York and Boston may very much differ, but their biggest
connection to each other is their love of their sports teams. The New York Botanical
Garden in Bronx, NY is proud to announce their opening of their latest exhibit in the
garden, Yankees and Red Sox Through the Years. The attraction depicts some of the
best Yankees and Red Sox players throughout the teams histories.
The exhibit features players like Mickey Mantle, Babe Ruth, Derek Jeter, Mariano
Rivera, Ted Williams, Tris Speaker, Manny Ramirez, and David Ortiz sculpted in flowers
and plants. All of these players are distinguished members of the Yankees and Red Sox.
Throughout the duration of the exhibit, members of the Yankees and Red Sox will make
appearances at the exhibit and spend time signing autographs and speaking about their
experience on the teams.

The garden knows how to wow its visitors from all over the world and seldom
disappoints. The exhibit is expected to be almost as popular as the gardens Train Show
exhibit that runs every year during the holiday season.
I love seeing the culture of New York mixed with another city, this New York Boston rivalry has been alive since I was a kid, said Bronx Borough President, Ruben
Diaz. I have always loved visiting the garden as a kid and now they have brought one of
baseballs most talked about rivalries to life, said Diaz.
A visit to the new exhibit will have any visitor feel like they are taking a walk
through baseball history.
