    CGTSI extended the deadline for member lending institutions to lodge applications for guarantee cover under CGS. Originally, the deadline was October 31, 2006 to lodge or re-lodge applications for credit facilities sanctioned between January 1, 2005 and March 31, 2006. However, due to connectivity problems reported by member institutions, CGTSI extended the deadline to December 31, 2006. Member institutions were advised to submit applications in a spaced out manner to avoid overloading CGTSI's bandwidth near the new deadline.

    Dear Sir,

    One time extension of time period for lodgement of application for guarantee cover under CGS

    Please refer to our Circular No. 32/2006-07 dated September 01, 2006 regarding allowing
    one time exemption for lodgement / re-lodgement of application in respect of the credit facilities
    sanctioned by the MLIs between January 01, 2005 and March 31. 2006
    In view of the various representations received from MLIs due to the connectivity problems
    encountered by them, it has been decided to extend the last date for lodging / re-lodging the application
    upto December 31, 2006 instead of October 31, 2006 as a very special case. Kindly ensure that such
    applications are lodged / re-lodged in a spaced out manner instead of waiting for the last week of
    December 2006 as this clogs our bandwidth, giving rise to connectivity problems.
