Ingredients

Materials/ utensils

2 cups of breadcrumbs

2 mixing bowls

2 garlics

1 garlic crusher

10 parsley stems

1 knife

Dash of salt

Chopping board

Dash of pepper

1 medium size pan

1 egg, lightly beaten

2 tablespoons olive oil
4 chicken thigh fillets

Action Plan
1. Put on apron and hair net, wash hands.
2. Collect ingredients and utensils.
3. Organize workbench.
4. Put breadcrumbs in a bowl.
5. Crush the garlic into the breadcrumbs with garlic crusher.
6. Cut parsley leaves off parsley stems and add into mixture.
7. Add salt and pepper to the mixture.
8. Break egg in separate bowl and mix until smooth.
9. Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, then the breadcrumbs, place the finished
chicken breasts on a separate plate.

10. Turn on the stove on a low flame; place the pan over the low flame.
11. Add olive oil to fill the whole surface of the pan.
12. Cook chicken breasts until golden.
13. Assemble chicken schnitzel.

Improvements

In my opinion, I believe my
dish looked aesthetically
pleasing, by using the
tomato and parsley leaves
on top it gave the overall
look a bit of colour and
was pleasing to look at.
Also the chicken was
cooked to perfection, it
wasnt over cooked and it
wasnt undercooked it was
perfect. I also added extra
breadcrumbs to my
chicken thigh fillet, I think
that is a good idea to do if
you want your chicken to
be extra crispy.

I believe that my dish was


aesthetically pleasing and tasted
great, perhaps it could of used a
side dish to make it a more
filling meal. Next time I make
this meal I would consider doing
a side dish such as mashed
potato which is what I have most
of the time with my chicken
schnitzel at home, or I could use
hot chips by chopping potato
and deep frying it, also I can
basically have a salad which
includes lettuce, carrot,
cucumber, onion and tomato.

Next time I do this dish I will


serve it with a side dish of
salad, mashed potato or hot
chips. I would have to survey
people to understand which side
dish they would like better to
satisfy the people who I am
making it for. Even if I just
survey my family of 5 at home,
they can tell me which side dish
they like best and I can make it
for them.
