Title of Research: A narrative exploration of spiritual pain & existential pain: Proposed
semantic distinction
Description:
o Designed, conducted, and completed qualitative research on the topic of spiritual pain
and existential pain, under the direction of Dr. Jenny Pak (Research Advisor).
o The qualitative data was analyzed using narrative analysis; research results were
written up and submitted to masters committee for approval.
o Currently, a manuscript is in preparation for publication.

Description:
o Helped develop the protocols for two forgiveness interventions one based on
cognitive behavioral principals and the other based on mindfulness meditation
o Co-led two, six hour, psycho-educational seminars. One intervention utilized Everett
Worthingtons cognitively oriented REACH model of forgiveness, the other was a
mindfulness-based approach.
