For this school year, we will
be using Edmodo website.
Edmodo is a digital classroom with that could remind
you of Facebook.
The website will have a wall
and post for everyone in the
class to post and respond to
the post on the wall. Only
our class will be able to see
the wall though.
I decided to use Edmodo in
the class because it will
give the entire class the

opportunity to explore and

experiment with many new
assignments online rather
than doing boring desk work.
This website shares assignment, videos, and pictures
Another reason I choose this
Edmodo is to learn new
things about you students.
The site allows the you and
your peers to rate the assignments, tell me what you
liked about it, what things I
may need to change.

created a new website for the class. Students and parents has access to the
new class website. This website is linked with weebly.com. This site allowed me
to create, design, and publish our class website. It includes pictures, videos,

Just about everyone have had some
sort of experience with Microsoft word.
Many in the class have learned the basics of navigating thru Microsoft word
just enough to produce a typed paper.
However, Microsoft word have enough
tools and settings to create much more
than an average paper. You can make
anything from a poster for class to a
graphed chart for a math lesson.

Microsoft word offers a large range of

page set up styles. Using the Page Design tab your document can have any
background, colors, and size you desire.
Some other useful tools on Microsoft word are inserting pictures, textboxes, hyperlinks, tables just about anything you
can imagine on a document can be

added by using the insert tab.

Microsoft word is like a gold mine.
Many just did not realize the full potentials of the tools yet. Next time your on

We can use any material someone else
created without any copyrighting consequences. How you ask? By making
sure you abide by copyrighting guidelines.
Copyright is to protect
works. The copy writing

guidelines are enforced to allow others to use the material without passing
it off as their own. Students can use
any material they like as long as they
are teaching the material for educational
purposes.
Using

the material in small increments give

credit to the creator, and not changing
the purpose of the material allows educators and students to use others
works in the class room to promote full
understanding.

you used the cloud, saving all of your

items. For example, if you computer
crash and you lose all of your documents the cloud will have all of your

Create a Cyberbullying Pledge

Learn the newest way to prevent Cyberbullying! Educators can create a digital pledge for parents and
students.
Its really easy to create. Give students
and parents two separate pledges to
sign. The pledges will appeal a younger
and a technological audience.

Students can receive a short, colorful, and creative pledge, while parent
can receive clean cut, straight to the
point, informative pledges. Each
pledge can be created and posted
online or printed.
