1.Backup Procedure
Step :1
Login to the Cisco Call Manager Disaster Recovery System

Start

msftp on Local PC
User :
Password:
Port : 22
Root path : Storage location in Local PC
Make sure the Storage Location is given necessary permission.

Step : 3
Select Option Backup Device

Step : 4
Add a new Backup Device

Step : 5
Configure Backup Device
1. Add an appropriate name ( eg : CUCMBackup)
2. Configure Network Directory
i.
Server Name ( If the Backup storage is your PC, then this field should be filled with the IP
Address of that PC ) ( Static IP recommended )
ii.
Path Name ( Directory where the data has to be stored. Should be filled with / )
iii.
User Name ( User Name for SFTP Server )
iv.
Password ( Password for SFTP Server)

Manual Backup
Step: 1

Select the Backup Device

Select the Feature CCM and Start Backup

Step: 2
View Backup Status

Scheduled Backup
Step: 1

Select the Backup Option

Select the Feature Scheduler and Add new

Step: 2

Select the Backup Device

Select the Feature CCM
Select the required fields Save and Enable Schedule

2.Restore Procedure
Step :1
Login to the Cisco Call Manager Disaster Recovery System

Step :2
Select RestoreRestore Wizard

Step :3
Select the Backup Device

Step :4
Select the Backup File and click Next.

Step :5
Select the Features and click Next

Step :6
Select the Servers to be restored and click Restore.

Step : 7
View Restore Status

Step : 8
Restart the Cluster for changes to take effect.
