The purpose of this form is to allow you to set down in a very brief way, on
one side of A4, your initial ideas for the Topic of your Dissertation. On the
basis of this information you will be allocated an Advisor with expertise in
your area of interest. The Advisor will assist and guide you in developing
these initial ideas into a Research Proposal. The Research Proposal sets out
in some detail the work that you intend to do for your Dissertation.

Methodology
This section should show that you have given the methodology
due consideration and have thought about the data collection
approaches and techniques that will be most appropriate. You
should show an awareness of the research philosophy that you
intend to adopt and how this will relate to the research approach
and data collection techniques you intend to use. You should
relate the research methodology to your research objectives
stated in Section 7. and explain the rationale behind the
methodologies selected.
