Mr

that
the

were
quite
mixed,

the

School
Uniform:
There
were
many
issues
raised
with
the
school
uniform,
such
as
the
quality
of
the
clothing,
hoodies,
how
its
worn
and
how
its
enforced
by
members
of
staff.
First
of
all,
Mrs
Veeren
proposed
the
question
of
whether
we
liked
the
school
uniform;
this
gave
mixed
responses,
some
saying
yes
and
some
saying
no.
One
of
the
issues
we
had
with
the
uniform
was
that
not
everyone
wears
the
same,
therefore
when
students
start
wearing
a
more
fashionable
item
of
clothing,
everyone
wears
it,
so
we
suggested
making
rules
that
only
being
able
to
wear
those
specific
items,
which
means
everyone
would
wear
the
same.
As
the
school
wants
us
to
look
smart,
we
discussed
whether
blazers,
shirts
and
ties
would
be
a
good
idea
because
some
of
us
felt
that
the
polo
shirts
and
jumpers
could
possibly
suggest
a
more
casual
look.
However,
the
majority
of
people
said
ties
would
cause
problems
with
the
younger
age
groups.
Also,
some
people
suggested
whether
looking
smart
for
school
was
actually
necessary.
The
issue
of
hoodies
was
raised
with
the
question
what
is
actually
wrong
with
them?,
we
discussed
this
question
and
came
to
the
conclusion
that
they
have
negative
connotations.
We
also
discussed
whether
in
Summer,
boys
would
be
allowed
to
wear
shorts
as
some
felt
it
is
sometimes
too
hot
to
be
wearing
trousers.
Lastly,
we
discussed
how
uniform
is
enforced
upon
students.
Overall,
we
felt
that
teachers
were
only
strict
on
it
at
certain
times,
but
in
order
for
it
to
be
successful,
it
needs
to
be
a
constant
enforcement.
We
also
said
that
all
of
the
teachers
need
to
implement
the
same
rules
to
all
of
the
students,
so
there
is
no
confusion.
