Personal Statement
I am currently a second year Computer Science Student studying for a BSc degree. I am
a cheerful team player with a calm and positive attitude. I class myself to be an
adaptable individual, who can handle situations in a professional manner. I believe, I
have the right skills and positive attitude when it comes to Computer Programming. The
opportunity to learn new skills such as, communication, and team working and customer
service skills is particularly attractive to me. This is because, I am working at Broadway
Casino. At the end of this course, I have the intention to look for a graduate job, either
relating to programming or database.

Skills
Effective Communication skills - My communication skills are beyond excellent, due
to working in a fast paced customer service environment for the last one year.
Team Working - I can work as a good team player without any difficulties that increases
my positive attitude towards my work. I can also share ideas in a group with pure
confidence.
Good knowledge of - MS office along with, Python, C#, Visual Basic and SQL. I gained
these skills during my first year of Computer Science course. I have experience
especially in Visual Basic, creating a static and dynamic webpage.
Problem solving - I have solved many problems at work such as, customer complaints
and ensuring customer satisfaction. I can solve problems quickly and effectively without
a doubt.
Numeracy skills - My numeracy skills are excellent, I can write this confidently this is
because, in my first year of University I achieved 90% in my Data Analysis module. Also,
I can solve various different Mathematical problems without struggling.

Broadway Casino - I have been working at Broadway Casino for the last one year.
My duties include, serving customers, dealing with problems and complaints. Bar
and restaurant roles and working on the till.

Hobbies and Interests

I enjoy sports and have previously played badminton and along with taking place in other
athletic sports. I enjoy socializing, speaking with people and making new friends
because I am an extrovert person. I really enjoy doing some challenging and physical
work. I have a high interest in computing (like making different programmes and
designing software).
