Setting:

The setting for my course proposal is at a affluent high school. The target audience is highly
motivated students in grades 10-12. The student population is about 2500, and grows
exponentially each year. Most parents of the audience are in the engineering and medical
fields. The parents have high expectations of the school system and are very involved on
the education of their student. Parents will require access to all curriculum materials, and
expect clear and concise direction.
The class will be offered exclusively online to allow the learners to participate in the many
extra curricula activities they are asked to participate in.
My job will consist of assisting the tradition classroom teachers in creating an online class
that can adhere to the strict demands of the school, students are parents.
Evaluate and provide leadership for the overall instructional programs of the district. Assist in
directing and managing instructional programs and operations at campus level. Provide leadership to
ensure high standards of instructional service. Assist in the effective and efficient operations of the
curriculum and instruction department which includes curriculum, staff development, and assessment.

Regulatory Subsystem:
The curriculum and instruction department will meet to discuss planning and roll out
procedures of the LMS every 6 wks during the school year to ensure that every meeting can
discuss just in time learning and adjustments.
The curriculum and instruction department will set forth the education technology goals at
each campus respectively to ensure that each campus is aware of the technology objectives.
The curriculum and instruction department will ensure that the delivery of curriculum
through the LMS does not violate any FERPA laws.

Course Subsystem:
The course learning management system to be used is accessible at www.schoology.com to
ensure that the curricula is accessible 24 hrs a day.
Maintenance of the LMS will be proctored by the instructor to ensure valid resources are
available for all learners
The schoology help desk is available 24 hours a day and can be reached at
https://www.schoology.com/contact.php to ensure communication between the learner
and student should not be lost.

Student Subsystem:
The unique ID number and password have been assigned by the technology support staff at
the respective campus to ensure that each student enrolled in the school can formally
access the LMS.
Students must login to view documents and should not share login information to ensure
the privacy and honor code are intact and respected.

Student can read feedback left by the professor on the submitted assignments to ensure the
interactivity between the student and teacher is profound and rich.

Logistical Subsystem:
The campus will purchase the Enterprise edition of Schoology to allow the instructors
access to learning strategies to ensure that learning experience exemplifies any pre existing
use of a LMS.
The campus will eventually deactivate the School Wires platform in order to adjust costs of
the LMS to ensure that over spending does not occur.
The campus will hire on campus instructional technology specialists to assists every
campus in making the transition to the LMS to ensure every teacher is comfortable without
constant assistance.

Accessibility:
All students shall have accessibility to have curricula read to them through the LMS audio app
to ensure that each student can access text based materials.
All students are provided with video instruction that accompanies a transcript to ensure text
based learners have access to the learning materials.
All students will have access to the LMS mobile app provided through the school free of cost to
ensure that students can reach the materials and communicate with the teachers at all times
