Kemp Model: Development

As stated in the design portion of this module, educators will meet instructional
objectives by accessing lessons online. Through videos and the Prezi application, teachers will
be able to work at their own pace, on their own schedule, and in an environment that is
comfortable for the viewer. Upon completion of the assignments, education professionals
should have an understanding of how to access students IEPs, the differences between
accommodations and modifications, and the terms behind special education acronyms.
1. Instructional Objective 1 - Faculty will learn to use the program Enrich, which will give
them access to special needs data.
This video on Enrich gives teachers a step-by-step process in accessing students special
education data. Many schools have the special education teacher print off the
information needed by general education teachers. After viewing this guide on Enrich,
general education teachers will be able to access and pull information on their own as
needed.

2. Instructional Objective 2 - Faculty will learn how to classify the difference between
accommodations and modifications.
This Prezi was created to differentiate between the terms, accommodations and
modifications. Each slide explains the definition of the term, along with examples of
how they can be implemented in the classroom. Upon completion of this assignment,
educators will recognize the differences between accommodations and modifications
and decide which approach would work best in various situations.

3. Instructional Objective 3 - Faculty will learn how to clearly identify and define special
need acronyms.
This video was created to label the many acronyms associated with special education.
After viewing this defining model, educators will be able to link complete names and
information surrounding the acronyms.
