This week children will be exploring emails as a mode of communication. We will talk about how the internet allows us to stay
in connection with people who not only live close by, but also those living far away. We made an address book last week and
will be adding email contacts to this book. We will be creating a simple message for them to send you and will be booking the
computer lab to have practical, hands-on experience in sending an email. We will investigate the advantages and
disadvantages of using letters as opposed to using emails. We will specifically look at the way emails provide instant
connection as opposed to a waiting period which we have experienced in posting our letters home last week.
