NARRATIVE

Objective: to create and explain a scrapbook consisting of the literary

elements of the novel read independently.
TITLE PAGE: includes the title of the book, the author , and an illustration.
(this can be your cover)
SETTING PAGE: includes pictures of and from the setting(s) of your book.
NEEDS TO DEPICT TIME AND PLACE
CHARACTER PAGES: should be at least 3 pages (2 major characters each
on their own page a page depicting any other major characters and the minor
characters) These pages should include a picture of the characters as you
see them, along with and traits, ideas, and objects that are important to the
characters.
SCENE PAGES: should be at least 3 scenes. These pages should include
important scenes from the book as well as a description. The first scene
page should be the initiating event (the event that starts off the conflict in
the book) the other 2 pages should be important scenes but not the
ending!!!!!
RESOLUTION PAGE: Here is where you tell the ending of the story. This
page should show how the story resolved itself with a picture of the scene
as well as a written description.
THEME PAGE: This page tells the theme of the book in words and pictures.
(The message in the story)
