    SWOT Analysis
    Strengths

    I have a good technical skill and understand how to use professional sound
    equipment.
    I have good attendance and dont miss many lessons, so I have not missed much
    work, or opportunities to learn something.
    Our group cooperated well and there were no arguments between us.
    I can set up a PA system correctly within a desired timescale.

    Weaknesses

    I am not very good at managing my time when I am doing written work, which
    results in unfinished or missing work.
    People can sometimes distract me when I am working, which can result in
    unfinished work and missed deadlines.
    I do not organise my written work very well, which can result in time being used to
    tidy up my work.

    Opportunities

    I learned how to correctly set up a PA system, and how to balance a mixing desk for
    a recording, or a live performance.
    I had the opportunity to attend a sound, lighting, production and marketing
    workshop at Theatr Y Ffwrnes.
    I helped to set up and run school productions such as prize giving, talent shows,
    and the school show.

    Threats

    Other people are sometimes using the drama hall and sports hall, so we cannot do
    practical work at these times, which can result in missed deadlines.
    Sometimes performers have disagreements about how, or what they perform if they
    are recording, which can result in too much time being used in the studio.
    Plans must sometimes be changed due to health and safety concerns, which cause
    us to use extra time moving things, or setting them up in a different way. This takes
    up valuable time.

    Conclusion
    I think that I have achieved a distinction because I produced a highly detailed sound
    reinforcement plan, which accurately describes and assesses the following:
    Accommodation & resources
    Schedule and timescale
    Equipment and resource inventory
    Musicians/acts requirements
    Health & safety requirements
    Following correct procedure, we connected and powered up a rehearsal-level PA system
    displaying an excellent, comprehensive awareness of potential hazards of physical harm
    and damage to equipment, equipment placement, accurately testing of system with a
    suitable sound source.
    We sound checked a vocal microphone, one DId instrument and one micd acoustic
    instrument demonstrating an excellent awareness of microphone placement, minimising
    feedback hazards, accurate EQ and balance awareness.
    We demonstrated abilities to accurately and effectively record an extract of the mix
    produced, safely and efficiently dismantle the PA system following a set procedure folding
    leads correctly ensuring that all equipment is accounted for, displaying highly organised
    abilities.
