Literacy narrative outline

Intro:

definition of literacy > having a true understanding of something or a


subject; having an intuitive understanding of how systems work

got IEP started (carried it though high school)
slower paced English class > mrs. Davis
7th grade back to normal English

- sophomore > Amiel
- literate in mechanics > old truck and dirt bike
- good at negotiating financial transactions
- literate in assessing situations ex. Work and college
conclusion:
- do to my reading and writing disability I have figured out different ways
of learning and where my strengths lie. Strengths are hands on,
mechanical, and assessing situations and figuring out what I need to do.
- Learned to become literate using different abilities.
