This section constitutes 15% of your overall mark. You will be given an
extract from one of the above texts and will be expected to give a 10 minute
oral commentary on the extract and text. This will then be followed by an
interactive conversation about one of the other texts from this part.

since May 2014) of about 10-15 minutes on a topic chosen by you based on

Paper 1: Commentary (2 hours) [20%]
Written commentary based on poetry or another text to which the techniques
of literary criticism can be applied.
Paper 2: Essay (see Part 3)
