1. I draw the following correspondence to your attention and strongly recommend that, if you allow the Law
Institute's Chief Executive Officer to continue to behave in this fashion, you should take a very close look at
the Law Institute's D&OI Insurance Policies and Procedures.
2. Each of you has a duty to me personally, as a loyal member of the Institute, a duty to the profession, and a
duty to the public to weed out these 'Sharks in Wigs' rogue lawyers. I refer you to the extraordinary recent
statements and reports from the Federal and State Attorney-Generals and the Victorian State Ombudsman
on the sick state of our profession, and call on you to do something about it.
