Associate Clinician/Case Manager - Responsible for general care of program clients while providing counseling and advocacy in a
therapeutic setting assisting young adult through geriatric clients with chronic mental illness and co-occurring disorders, achieve
social, economic, emotional, and personal independence in order to live in the community.
Assists with assessing all aspects of client care including, records/documentation, quality of service, outcomes, risk
management and client surveys and assures all standards are met or exceeded.
Collaborates with family members with regard to client treatment planning and execution.
Creates treatment plans with respect to individual client needs and limitations.
Ensures treatment plans and interventions are current best practice, individualized, specific, measureable, and strength
based for the needs of a diverse population.
Assists director in certifying that programs are in compliance with all regulatory, licensing, accrediting and agency
requirements.
Assessess client needs during initial intake process to determine client eligibility for services.
Operational knowledge of mental illness and co-occurring disorders including the behavioral aspects of the disease and
medications used to treat these conditions.
Practice current best practice crisis intervention techniques with physically and verbally aggressive clients.
Monitors the response of clients to treatment programs and evaluates the quality of services to ensure they are being
delivered in an individualized, consistent, flexible and responsive manner.
Works in concert with psychiatric professionals in monitoring, executing and adjusting client programs.
Provides individualized assistance to each client to identify training, education and employment options that meet client
needs.
Organizes work activities and personal time management techniques to meet deadlines and achieve work objectives in a
systematic, efficient, and timely manner.

Sanctuary Model for woman victims of domestic violence and their children.
Help clients with safety planning, including obtaining P.F.A.s and No-Contact Orders.
Facilitated educational group sessions with children and women of domestic violence, including identifying abuse, gaining
financial independence, and teaching how to secure employment.
