Checklists
Service checklist
Carry out the following check procedure at the terminal and the weighing platform before troubleshooting and after servicing.
1.2.1
At the terminal
Unplug terminal.
Unplug weighing platform.
Switch terminal on. PLUG IN appears in the display.
Press SET TO ZERO key until SERVICE MODE appears in the display.
Press Enter key until all display elements illuminate.
Press all keys in sequence from left to right.
If a GA46 printer is connected, a test printout is printed automatically after the last key is pressed.
"END?" appears in the display. The test routine can be repeated by pressing the Tare key.
Press the Enter key to return to weighing mode.
Check all plug-in connections and program EPROM for firm seating.
Check connected peripherals.
1.2.2
Check that transport locks of the weighing platform have been released properly and are in the correct position.
Check supports of the weighing platform.
Check that the load plate is free and has no contact with the surroundings.
Check maximum capacity and linearity of the weighing platform.
Check play of all stops and limits.
Check that the lever system is free on all sides.
Check knife edges, bearings and flexible bearings.

Operating errors
Incorrect operations at the terminal and operating conditions of the weighing platform under which a weight determination
is not admissible or not possible are displayed by the terminal in clear text, see operating instructions.

Caution
Before opening the instrument:
Disconnect power plug.
Unplug attached weighing platform and peripherals.

Unscrew 2 screws on underside of the cover at the front and lift off cover.
Caution
Do not scratch coating on the inside of the display window, if need be simply wipe carefully using a soft cloth.
Unplug keypad cable (J) at main board.

Software compatibility
The ID1 Plus weighing terminal is compatible with all weighing platforms of the F, K, N and D series.
