SDAIE/ELD Lesson

- How do ensure that focus students are accountable to speaking, listening, and asking
questions to each other?

- Are all students participating, or are there some that do not participate? What did I do to
engage them in the lesson?

- Who did I call on to respond? Did I target all of my focus students?

- How did I facilitate whole group discussion to keep students engaged and to ensure that all
students share ideas?

- Who do I work with one-on-one during independent work? Am I moving around the room
-

enough? Do I hold students accountable for their work? Did I work on the skills that I was
concerned about with my focus students?
What consequences do I give to students who are not following my expectations? How do I
re-engage them in the lesson?
