teacher will ask questions. He/ she will then have the students verbally direct her through
Skype.
Modeling: To model the information, the teacher will create a one page paper about his/

Guided Practice/Check for Understanding: Students will be broken down into 5 different
groups. (Law Enforcement, Medical, Business, Culinary, and Education.) Within their
groups they will talk amongst each other to learn missed information. Here they can ask
questions amongst their peers that they may not have been able to find, in hopes that their
peers may know the answer.
Practice: The teacher will have the students write down their parents or grandparents
careers. They will then be given a 20 minute time frame to research and come up with two
new facts that they didnt know about their parents career.

did!
Assessment:
To better make sure the students understand the assignment. The teacher will ask
the students to go home and interview their parents. The teacher will also ask the
students to walk their parents through the Drive of Your Life and discuss the
results they had found while exploring it at school.
