the proper amount of space needed for your files you want
to download.

Finding a Useful Torrent

Before you can download files from The Pirate Bay you need
a torrent bit torrent downloader.

1. Find a torrent downloader.

2. Pull up a new blank window in your web browser.
3. Search the web for torrent downloader.
4. You should see utorrent on the first page.
5. Once found select free download.

6. Save it to the computer and close it out.

1. Open up a web browser.
2. Search google for The Pirate Bay.
3. It should be the first site to come up and looks like
below.

4. In the search bar you can search for any movie, song,
game, or app you can think of that you want.
5. Type in The Hunger Games

6. A list of files with the same name should come up.

7. At the top right you should see a section that says SE.
8. Select it and it should show the files in order from highest
seeders to lowest leechers.

9. After you have done that select the one with the highest
amount of SE.

10. It should look like the picture above and select get this
torrent.

11. Once selected another window should pop up like the

12. Select ok and your file will begin to download from the
torrent downloader you started earlier.

13. While its downloading you can see the percentage it is at

and how long it will take.

14. Once it is done you should be able to double click it and

it should start right up.

15. Grab a bag of popcorn and enjoy your movie.

16. Repeat the steps over for any other movie, games,
music, or apps you may find.

Glossary
Leechers-

is simply describing a peer or any client that does not have 100% of

the data.The term also refers to a peer (or peers) that has a negative effect on the
swarm by having a very poor share ratio, downloading much more than they upload.

Seeders-

A seeder is someone who contributes to a torrent. Basically if you use

a torrent client it is set to seed what you download for a set period after you have
downloaded. This is completely configurable by the user.

The Pirate Bay-

(commonly abbreviated TPB) is a website that provides

magnet links (and some torrent files) to facilitate peer-to-peer file sharing using the
BitTorrent protocol. The site was founded in Sweden in 2003.

uTorrent-

(or uTorrent, commonly abbreviated as "T" or "uT") is a free, ad-

supported, closed source BitTorrent client owned and developed by BitTorrent, Inc. With
over 100 million users it is the most widely used BitTorrent client outside China; globally
only behind Xunlei.

Torrent-

is a file extension for a BitTorrent file format used by BitTorrent clients.

Torrent files contain text and point out the trackers for a download to begin downloading
from distributors (known as seeders) and requesting clients (known as leachers).

Web Browser-

(commonly referred to as a browser) is a software application

for retrieving, presenting and traversing information resources on the World Wide Web.
An information resource is identified by a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI/URL) and
may be a web page, image, video or other piece of content.
