Dear Senior Exploration Judge:
These past four years of high school has been the best four years of my life. I have grown
through the past years. I am currently on the dance team, the Sharkies. I am also currently in
the schools JROTC program completing my fifth semester. When people told me senior year
is going to fly by, they were not lying. These past months have flown by in a blink of an eye.
I have wanted to join the military and become a military police officer working with the K-9
Unit for a long time. So this is what has motivated me to choose my topic on K-9 Units. I
think doing my senior project on what I want to become in my future, has help me truly
understand the basics of my career has in stores for me. I have already learned a tremendous
amount just by researching this subject.
I have really enjoyed working on my senior project. Learning how a K-9 unit can really make
a difference by their wide range of duties that they carry out in their communities. I
definitely faced obstacles while working on this project. I was able to overcome them by
digger further into new resources. The first obstacles I faced was finding a topic that really
grabbed my attention. After, finding the sources that best fit my topic. Finally, I would have
to say working on my senior project was not just enjoyable but has enhanced my desire to
further my education.
