AfterobservingandworkingwiththestudentsfromSmith/HomerElementary,canyoubrieflydescribe,an
effectivestrategyto:
a. getthechildrensattentionBeingaffirmativeandconfidentwithinstructionfromthestartwillleadtoa
morestructuredactivitywiththechildrenbeingmoreattentive.

b.keepthechildrensattentionUnderstandingwhenthechildrensattentionisatitmaxandalsoatitslowest
isanintegralparttoanylesson.Havingalessonplanthatisflexibleandhasmorethanoneoptionisvitalto
