 Most revered Swami Ji has taken the resolution that every person and child
born in this land of sages must be given yoga education. With this pious mission
in his heart Swami Ji has blown the trumpet for yogic, spiritual and social
awareness through organizing yoga camps in the entire country. Hundreds
and thousands of people have attended the yoga camps and reaped the benefits
of good health and have been able to get rid of serious ailments like diabetes,
obesity high blood pressure, heart problem, constipation, depression,
migraine, spondalitis, slip disc, arthritis, sciatica, backache, gastric
problems, piles, ulcer etc.
In these yoga camps, simple and in-depth training is imparted for
yogasanas, pranayam, light exercises, meditation, shad karma and
arousing the kundalini through which the participants march forward on
the path of self-realization and lead a peaceful and happy life.
Revered Swami Ji is creating a pious and energized society by curing
the doshas of the body and mind with yoga, ignorance through Vedic
and knowledge, superstition with the medium of teaching Ayurveda
tradition.

Swami ji! My name is Urmila
Singla and I am 38 years old. I have
been suffering from diabetes from
10 years and I also take insulin shots
till 26-28.
I was on allopathy medication
due to which my weight started in-
creasing gradually. Infact my body
became susceptible to other dis-
eases. I suffered from paralysis. I
could not sleep, I was always
troubled because of headaches.
I was living an aimless life. I lost
confidence, their was no hope. Then
I saw your programme on Aastha
channel and then I decided to fol-
low yog- pranayam to stay fit.
Yog- pranayam made me feel
good. Then I visited Patanjali
Yogpeth in Haridwara. There thru
Panch karm I was treated which
was beneficial.
For curing obesity and diabetes
I religiously followed Yogacharya
Kapil Rupurker’s special classes
on Paranyam and yogasanas . The
yog asanas I practise are kapalbhati,
brahmari pranayam, agnisaar,
manduk asan, shashank asan,
kurmasan,wakrasan, Ardhmats-
yendra and bhujangasan. I followed
all asanas and in 15 days I stopped
taking insulin shots. I saw a ray of
hope when my weight started re-
ducing. I was amazed that within
6 months my body had started re-
sponding to yoga. My body no longer
needed insulin and I stopped taking
allopathy medicine. Regular yoga
practise and proper diet helped me
reduce weight . Swamiji its just be-
cause of your guidance that I am a
healthy person today. I would sug-
gest people to include yoga in life.

years my left ear was giving me
trouble, I was hearing partially from

According to which hearing aid was

Reaserches have proved it again and
again that five percent girls of the whole popula-
tion in our country are suffering from the disease known
as anorexia narsova. Many mothers are troubled by
this modern disease as their daughters refuse to eat.
Anorexia narsova disease has become very common
amongst girls. In fact it is increasing rapidly. Compare
to last few years the number of cases have tripled.
There is another disease named as middle anorexia
narsova found in boys as well a girls. IN this disease
the ratio is approximately 10:1. Girls suffering from
this disease normally are seen searching new recipes
but they hardly eat. It’s not that they don’t feel hungry
but they neglect food to stay slim trim.
Now a days maintaining a slim figure has become a
fashion. Face has lost its value. Many international
companies have caught the pulse of girls so well that
they very cleverly use it in their product promotions to
seel the products. Women and girls are stuck with the
idea of looking slim. They get so mad to reduce weight
that they are fooled easily and most of the time they
don’t even consult the doctors before taking any step.
For many girls it is so important to look slim that
without consulting any dietician or a doctor they reduce
food intake. At many times some girls stop eating at all
without thinking about the consequences. It is a foolish
step as it makes the body weak and un healthy. To get
a good figure some also go to the beauty parlours. They
are unaware of the fact that for a good figure just eat-
ing salad and drinking water is not a good idea.
It’s such an irony that girls who have grown only on
junk food and have put on loads of weight because of it,
now want to get rid of same fat. The reason is expo-
sure to films and television. Through them they get to
know that healthy means slim. In fact slim word is out
of fashion and ultra slim is now in fashion.

mouth they immediately throw up. This situation is
termed as anorexia narsova.
People are not aware of fact that the child is facing
a problem and they take it lightly. This disease comes in
the category of psychosomatic. In this disease even if
the girl want to eat she is unable to eat. Food smell
irritates her, she might even vomit just by the food smell.
As a result such girls stop socialising and they become
irritable. Some even go eccentric.
Symptoms :
Girls suffering from this disease decrease the quan-
tity of the food. They keep pin pointing about amount
of calorie and the fat present in the food.
If high calorie food is eaten then the patient will be
in stress for some time.
Taking laxatives becomes habitual.
Patients weight starts dropping and she becomes un-

Exercise is a must for such girls and everything
should be done staying in limits. To reduce weight girls
shouls drink juice and water in a balance.
Don’t be lazy. Eat organic food it helps reduce
weight.
Fresh air is important.
Eat fresh fruits.

instead of dieting exercise should be done regularly to
reduce weight. Also that by eating balanced food face

Make powder of 15 gm tulsi seeds and 30 gm white
musli. Mix 60 gm ground sugar candy. Keep it in a
bottle.consume 5 gm of this powder with cows milk
morning and evening to remove sexual debility.
Garlic
Grind 200 gm garlicand add 60 ml honey. Keep it in a
bottle and beneath any grain for 31 days. After 31 days
take 10 gm of this to increase virility.
Nutmeg
Take 1 gm nutmeg powder everyday with fresh wa-
ter and cure sexual debility in few days.
Cinnamon
2 gm cinnamon powder taken with milk morning and
evening every day increases sperms and virility.
Dates:
During winter fry 2-3 dates in ghee in the morning
and eat regularly. Thereafter drink milk added with car-
damom, sugar and conch.
Black Lentil
Take 250 gm whole black lentil fry in ghee and make
powder. Add 120 gm jaggery and keep it. Take 20 gm
everyday adding ghee and honey ( in unequal proportion)

Take two to four dried figs boiled in milk morning and
evening. After that drink milk. Body becomes energetic
by eating this.
Amla ( Indian Gooseberry)
Take 5-10 gm amla power. Add ghee and honey ( in

Shatavari (Asparagus Racemosus)
The powder of shatavari shoud be sieved through cloth.
Take 3 gm powder and drink 250 gm milk. This increases

every year and establish India as a Super economic power.
4. Swadeshi Law, governance and tax structure
(a) Swadeshi system of law: The objective is to get
social justice for the common man of this country and
enable him to get the right of living with self pride and
self respect. After the revolution of 1857, the British par-
liament established its rule in this country on 1st Novem-
ber 1858 to suppress the uprising for India’s freedom
and to exploit the freedom fighters, revolutionaries and
patriots by committing atrocities and injustice to them.
Even before that, for about 100 years the East India Com-
pany ruled this country. The Britishers enacted about
34735 laws to make India’s subordination a permanent
feature and to check every Indian revolt against British
rule and throttle every voice asking for freedom. These
laws were enacted to loot Indians and to target their atroci-
ties and exploitation against them so as to ensure their
subordination. Whether it was Indian Police Act, in which
there was the provision of right to offence but no provi-
sion of right to defence, or the sections of I.P.C, C.P.C or
Cr.P.C etc or Indian Evidence Act etc, where the system
of justice was based on witnesses or evidences, did not
stand on the grounds of truth. It is for this that even
today there are about more than three and a half Crores
of cases lying pending in the Indian courts and more than
10 Crores of people are hovering around the courts and
are not getting justice. What is it being done in the name
of justice?
We are of the firm opinion that the constitution, po-
lice, administration and legal system of this country which
is presently entrapped in borrowed legal provisions and
British ideology should be changed radically and the people
of this country i.e. the free citizens of India should have
their own constitution, laws and system of justice.
Three new Swadeshi laws in the national interest
If the governments and political parties come out with
a plea that the complete review of the constitution and
other provisions of law may require a lot of time or it is
not possible to review them, atleast three laws should be
enacted immediately in the interest of this country and its
people.
1. Legal provision for life or death sentence for
five categories of criminals:
There should be a stringent law with a provision of
life sentence or death sentence for the corrupt people,
terrorist, rapist, licentious or such libertines who are play-

ing with the honour of mothers, sisters and daughters;
and the traders who are spreading poisonous and deadly
polluting gases and thus playing with the life and health
of Crores of their countrymen and injecting poison in the
holy soil of mother earth and those playing with the health
of Crores of people by way of adulteration in the food
items.
2. Expenses incurred on treatment of tobacco
addict patients to be recovered from the traders of
tobacco and wine
It means that the total expenditure incurred on the
people suffering from the deadly diseases like T.B. and
cancer etc. on account of their addiction of tobacco and
wine etc. should be recovered from the companies trad-
ing in toxic substances according to their turnover. It will
put a check on such trading companies and traders hatch-
ing a plot of death by their toxic substances and, by con-
trolling the everyday publicity, propagation of an encour-
agement to intoxicants, we will be able to protect the
people of this country.
3. Law for 100 % compulsory voting
We do not regard our voting right as our democratic
right but take it as a liability. But it is a fact that the best
system of governance in the world is democracy but the
other side of the fact is that democracy will be protected
against the conspiracy only when all the people of this
country will take the voting as their national responsibil-
ity. We have put in efforts in this regard and launched a
movement through our enlightened people and media per-
sonal to ensure 100 % voluntary voting but the campaign
was not completely successful and even in future, there
is no possibility of the peoples coming forward for 100
% voluntary voting. Therefore, we believe that while we
had enacted about 34735 laws to protect our democracy
and to run this country, why should not we going for a
law to make voting compulsory in order to save our de-
mocracy and country? Such citizens who do not exer-
cise their voting right, should be deprived of such facili-
ties and rights as they enjoy as a citizen of this country.
There are already laws for compulsory voting in more
than 30 countries like Australia, Italy, France and Ger-
many etc. and they have very good results of it.
(b) Swadeshi tax system: With a view to ruin Indian
industries under the Swadeshi legal system and to de-
stroy the gurukul system and to stop financial assistance
to the revolutionaries, the British rulers after the revolu-
tion of 1857 has levied 97 % income tax on Indian indus-
tries along with 350 % excise duty and 120 – 150 % sale
tax. With a view to ruin farmers, 90 % levy was charged
on their agriculture produce. Our intention behind fur-
nishing these facts and data is confined to this explana-
tion that in the name of Indian Income Tax Act, the black
law presently in force in this country, we have inherited
from Britishers. In their rule, they have levied a total of
14 taxes out of which only one was by way of direct
taxation and remaining 13 were in the form of indirect
taxes. Instead of reducing or doing away with these taxes,

today we have increased them further. Therefore, at
present, even after 62 years of independence, there are 2
direct taxes and 62 indirect taxes, thus coming to a total
of 64 types of taxes. These include House Tax, Water
Tax, Service Tax, Registry Tax, Income Tax, Sales Tax
etc. and in the form of these taxes money is recovered
from the people and with that money, governments pre-
pare their budgets. According to a study conducted in
1984, only 15% of the provision meant for expenses on
the development of India, could come down for the ac-
tual work of nation building and upliftment of poor and
the remaining 85% was consumed by way of corruption
and as a result of it, even after 62 years of our indepen-
dence, unemployment, poverty, hunger and paucities are
at their peak in this country. We believe for the basic
infrastructural development of the country, poors
upliftment, security and new researches, the government
of the country requires money and in a democratic sys-
tem, an argument is given that with the tax money, we
develop our country but the fact is just contrary to it. It
does not mean that we are against the payment of taxes.
We have two clear lines of thinking and one of them is
that corruption in the tax laws and tax collection system
should be completely removed and secondly, after with-
drawing all sorts of taxes, there should be only about 2 %
tax on the sale and purchase which will attract about Rs.
15 Lac Crore every year in the government coffers for
country’s development and to run the administrative ma-
chinery and it will give complete riddance to our citizens
from the loot, fear and terror being permeated in the form
of taxation. Moreover, it will give a permanent solution
for the problem of high prices and black money. In fact,
the people conceal their income just for the fear of taxes
because incase the government detects such evasion; it
will take away most of the amount in the form of taxes.
Income tax laws have converted the people into tax thieves
unwillingly. Patriotism, honesty and charities are there in
the blood of our people. If the government levies a 2 %
tax, atleast 99 % people will pay the taxes happily. How-
ever, one thing is there that the loot of tax money through
corrupt means should be stopped and the entire tax amount
should be spent on the development of the country with
complete honesty and transparency. A very big and bitter
truth of our politics is that many people become leaders
only to swindle thousands of Crores of rupees collected
by way of taxes from Crores of people, by indulging in
corruption. Now the corruption being permeated by the
top people of government should be completely stopped.
A question naturally comes up in the mind of every-
body as to how a large amount of Rs. 15 – 20 Lacs
Crores will be collected by levying merely 2 % of tax.
The details of this fact is that, according to the reserve
bank figure for the year 2008 – 9, everyday there is a
transaction of about Rs. 1,25,000 Crores for the sale and
purchase of main commodities and almost just double
amount of it is used for the same and purchase of cash
money which is termed as black money by the govern-

ment. In the first instance, there is nothing like the white
or the black money as such because the entire currency
is issued by the reserve bank and the people by way of
their heard work through nigh and day, earn this money
but the rates of government taxes are so high that all the
people right from poor to the rich are scared of paying
taxes and, for that matter, they hide their money in their
houses or offices. With a complete change in the tax sys-
tem, the people will come forward on their own to de-
posit even the black money in the banks and it will com-
pletely vanish the black marketing from the country. Along
with the reform of our tax system, we shall have to re-
form our banking system. It means that on the official
level, all the banks will be incomplete or part control of
the government so that the deposits of the people in the
banks remains safe. In short, by reducing the tax rates,
the problem of back money will be sorted out almost to
the extent of about 99 %. It means that 99 % of our
people will conduct their business and transaction of
money through banks. It will atleast double up the banks
transactions. It means that the present transaction which
stands at present at the level of 125000 Crores will go
upto a level of about 250000 Crores everyday. For the
whole year, this amount comes to Rs. 912 Lacs 50 Thou-
sand Crores.
If a 2% transaction tax is imposed on this amount, the
government can get Rs. 18 Lac 20 Thousand Crores.
With this amount the central government and the state
governments can do their all the development work eas-
ily.
As at present, in spite of 64 kinds of taxes, the gov-
ernment gets a lesser amount. It means that because of
our wrong policies while on one hand, the common man
is being exploited in the name of taxes and most of the
big people are able to save their tax amount by their tax
planning, on the other hand, black money is accumulat-
ing for the fear of taxes in almost all the countries which
is not in the interest of any country. In order to put an
end to the black marketing, we shall have to launch one
more campaign to see that all the things available in the
market are sold in white i.e. all the transactions should be
made through banks and the last but not the least is the
Reserve Bank should immediately stop the printing of cur-
rency note of higher denomination to bring an end to the
black marketing in this country. Unfortunately, about 99
% of our people require a larger number of currency
notes of lower denomination say that of rupees 5, 10, 20
or 50 which are only 15% of the total currency available
in the market and for most of our people, there is least
requirement of the currency notes of the higher denomi-
nation, say of Rs. 100, 500 or 1000, but there availability
is 85% which flourishes black marketing. If the reserve
bank stops the printing of big notes, 80 – 90 % of the
problem of corruption and black money will be automati-
cally sorted out because the concealment of big amount
of money say Lacs and Thousand Crores of rupees or
there handing out to other persons in the shape of smaller

currency notes of Rs. 5, 10, 20 or 50 will not be possible
as in case of the availability of only smaller notes of Rs.
10 or 20, one will require very big stores to hide it or shall
have to carry it not in small size suitcases but in large
trucks for the purpose of bribery.
It is because of these big notes that entire network of
black marketing, bribery, theft and corruption is getting a
boast. This horrible game should be stopped forthwith
and the Reserve Bank also by issuing an order, should at
once withdraw the currency notes of Rs. 500 and 1000
denomination. Even at the time of depositing black money
with the government, a nominal tax of 5 or 10 % may be
charged and the entire amount should be converted into
white. It will bring an end to the problem of black money
and corruption in just one day and Lacs and Crores of
rupees will be deposited in the government treasury.

in safer places. Hunters, leaving their intention of hunt-
ing went back. Flames were spreading very fast and
were engulfing all the trees. A hunter saw that a very
big tree has started catching fire but the birds living on
that tree are not flying and sitting their unmoved. The
hunter alerting them said,

the notes of smaller denomination so they require higher
denomination notes of Rs. 500 or 1000, we can counter
it with an argument that they should make their transac-
tions through cheques or banks and why should they
transact their business in currency notes. As regards the
lower category of people, neither they have big note nor
do they require them.
Our responsibilities: Although the work of formu-
lation of national policies and enactment of laws and other
regulations and the constitutional powers for the same
lies with the government in this country, yet the work of
forming public opinion for new laws and for changing
old laws and systems, we will do. We will place our ideas
before the people of this country and through the dispen-
sation of justice for the common man; we will get the
right of living with self respect for them

Shankaracharya with vishistadvaitvad and knowledge with
devotion, thereby he started the bhakti movement. Also

do not consider Brahman as Nirguna (transcendent) as
the new Vedanta philosophy , but Saguna (immanent).
He says he is for the welfare of the people and well being.
Shri Madhavacharya (1199 to 1276 AD) came after
Ramanujacharya. He wrote Gita Bhasya and Gita Tatparya
two treatise . he says for vishistadwait that we cannot
say that there is certain similarity and certain dissimilarity
between the jeev and the god. Therefore it is right to
consider both dissimilar. He propounded the third doc-
trine of” Dwait Sampraday.” He says where there is God
there is bhakti. As both have the space for devotion.
Therefore Madhavacharya has considered the main sub-
ject of The Geeta as Bhakiyog. He says Geeta does enu-
merate action but it is the means of bhakti and not the
means itself.
New commentators of Gita
A. Karmayog of Lokmanya Tilak (1853-1920 AD)-
The main commentator of modern times is Lokmanya

Tilak. He was the first one to say that the main predi-
cable subject of Geeta was neither Knowladge or de-
votion but action. Lokmanya Tilak says that to under-
stand the predicable content of any text we should
see the beginning and the end . we should see that
what has been repeated in the text. The main subject
which is talked at the beginning and in between and at
the end is the main subject.

The main thrust should be given to the matter which
is basically repeated in the body, summary and text. If
we analyze this point then have to see that how The Geeta
started. What is told in middle and at the end. In the battle

ready for renunciation. He left action. After the Gita ser-

Usually we hear that man should do the action con-
sidering it as his duty. The duty of the soldier is that he
should fight, on getting orders he should shootwhether
the person in front is guru or friend or relative. Judge”s
duty is that he should send the criminal to jail. And mur-
dered be hanged. The lawyers duty is to fight for his
client though he is guilty.this is karma yoga. But if the
internal character of the person changes- the heart of
soldier becomes that of Tolstoy and starts believing that
killing anyone is as disgusting as eating mans flesh and
judge believes that lie is always a sin. What will happen
then. Will still the soldier will have to fight by swearing
on karma yoga. Judge has to suppress his internal belief.
Lawyer has to fight for his client. Such a karma yoga is
of no use. It is said in Geeta is not possible. Buddha left
his house, Paramhansa left many times, vivekanand also
left everything. Will Geeta preach to Buddha that ruling
and looking after his wife and children was his duty?
That he was not right in doing so. Will it preach to
Vivekanand and Paramhansa that by leaving their families
they did not do the right thing. When the inner self is
confronted with such a situation like Buddha, Vivekanand
and Paramhansa then all duties are shunned and thrown
away.
Arjun was also in a similar situation. He was a soldier
therefore he was told to fight. He was told that war was
his religion. Who so ever is in front, guru, brother, rela-
tive- soldier should not throw the weapon. But does this
fact is proper that the inner self of Arjun was telling him
not to fight and Krishna telling him that he has to fight
war as it was his duty. The problem of Arjun was that
only that though he wanted to fight his inner self was
deviating him. The same way when awakened the lawyer
does not support his client like when awakened Buddha
left kingdom and Vivekanand left home and Paramhansa
also left family. To tell Arjun that he is the soldier do the
duty of the soldier , whether holy or sin without worry-
ing about the outcome he should do his duty.- Shri Arvind
says that this can be said by the state, politician but a
great religious and philosophical scripture whose very

aim is to solve the questions of life cannot preach like
this.if The Geeta has to say this as the ethical preaching
then instead of a great scripture it should be kept I the
library as a subject of politics.
If karma yoga is not the predicable subject of Geeta
then What is it as per Shri Arvind? He says that Geeta is
not a subject matter of politics but of spiritual nature.
The duty- action which Geeta talks about is not human
action but divine action. What is human action and Di-
vine action?
What we call as duty action are all human religion, the
duty as envisaged by the society for us is not divine ac-
tion but human action. For the Brahmin his duty, for the
kshtriya his duty cannot be termed as divine action but
human action. Soldier should shoot whoever is in front
of him, lawyer should fight for his client, judge should
send the convict to jail all these are human action and not
divine action. Human action is social duty. Society has
established duties which it considered right as per the
requirement. If the need of the society changes these
duties and action will also change.
The action which can change as per the needs of the
society are duty actions today tomorrow it might change.
For such actions can a great scripture like Geeta would
say that do your duty with closed eyes whether it is holy
or sin , whether your inner self does not allow you to do
so whether bloodshed of near and dear ones be done.
Shri Arvind says that Geeta cannot preach this, man can-
not tread blindly for human actions. Shri Arvind says
that Geeta inspires not for human action but divine ac-
tion. What is divine action? The control of the universe is
not by any human but divine power. Fulfilling the The
motive of the divine power in the management of the
world through the action is divine action. The action which
culminates in “Divine purpose” is the divine action. And
when human is doing a divine action it is not him but God
himself who is doing it. Man is just the medium. There is
no clash between divine and human action, social ser-
vice, performing the duties of Varnas duties established
by society can be divine action in todays world they do
are part of divine action, but there can be a situation when
there can be a clash between the divine and human ac-

tion. This situation came in the life of Buddha, dayanand,
Vivekanand and Paramhansa also faced similar situation.
At that time they let go off human action and held to
divine action. They listened to the inner self and followed
the orders of the God in the soul. They did not get en-
tangled in the worldly illusion of duty . the predicable
subject of The Geeta is the same divine action.
Then what is the solution to Arjuns problem as per
Shri Arvind. He says Geeta very emphatically says that
man is not the doer it is the nature. This triguna nature -
power makes theman do the action. What is nature? Be-
yond nature, the basis of nature, its master, the one who
controls the nature is the param brahmn. He sits in the
heart of his beings. He is the organizer of the nature ac-
tions. The one who in the war in kurukshetra has killed
the alive soldiers, one who has made Arjun just the in-
strument . Arjun who is just instrumental in the divine
powers., that’s why it doesn’t have any effect on our
action, right on our action, whatever it does it does after
leaving its rights, because these action are not of Arjun,
they are of GOD, that’s why these actions can’t be
awarded,as they are involuntary. The word Divya action
has come in the 4th chapter in the 9th shloka.
What do we learn in the divine action theory of Shri
Arvind? When the divine conscious is awakened in us
our actions is no more for the human action or surrender
oneself for the social behavior his action is to unite with
the vibration of the divine consciousness even though
there arise a struggle between human and divine actions.
Until the divine awakening does not happen one should
rise and perform duties of personal wishes, human du-
ties and social duties and national duties. Geeta gives due
respect to texts.

A midst the fields of rape-seed and mango groves expanding in a large
stretch of several miles, there is a small village called Khatkar Kalan at a
distance of 27 miles from Phagwara on Phagwara-Navan Shahar road. It
is the ancestral village of Bhagat Singh where he must have lived in his
early childhood when he might have played in the lap of his mother and
now his statue has been installed here which was unveiled by the Prime
Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi on 23rd March 1973. Bhagat Singh was standing

28TH September 1907 is an unforgettable day of our history. On this
day, a noble son was born in village Banga of Distt. Layalpur of Punjab
who had laid down his life on the alter of India’s freedom in his early age
of 23 and has stunned the entire world. In the history of India’s freedom
struggle, 2nd Lahore conspiracy case has a significant place. To express
the resentment of his countrymen on the Public Safety Bill, 2 immortal
sons of India viz. Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt had exploded 2
bombs in the Central Assembly on 8th April 1929. This blast is known by
the name of 2nd Lahore Conspiracy Case in our history.
Sardar Bhagat Singh, the great patriot, s noble son of his country and
an immortal hero of 2nd Lahore Conspiracy Case was born on 28th Sep-
tember 1907 in the family of his mother Vidyawati and father Sardar
Kishun Singh who was later on popularly known as the great revolution-
ary Sardar Bhagat Singh. While paying his tributes to Bhagat Singh on
10th January 1931, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose had said that today
Bhagat Singh is not a power but a symbol, symbol of a revolution, symbol
of a conscience which has today gripped the entire nation.
Bhagat Singh had accepted Kartar Singh Sarabha, the immortal mar-
tyr of the Gadar movement, as his ideal. The only objective of Bhagat

Homosexuality is the identity of modern Progres-
sivism. In relation to homosexuality when the so called
progressists filed a suit in the Delhi High Court then many
intellectuals signed in favor among which there was also

Those who consider themselves moral and religious
should always remember that most of the law made is
misused by the wrong persons. The good people are not
united and are because of their ignorance they are de-
feated and lag behind. In this context the human rights
violation in Kashmir, Punjab, Assam, Gujarat, can be put
together and analyzed. In this ism those who are against
the verdict are carrying out processions and speaking
against it should they not fight it in the court, but there is
no association which has a view like this. And thus they
wake up to reality when the verdict is pronounced. As a
result good people with good thought lag behind the bad
ones.
Here the third point which is related to this ism is the
economic aspect which the people are ignoring know-
ingly or un knowingly. A good person can spend on food,
shelter and clothing but fighting suits, paying lawyer, air-
fare, five star hotel stay is difficult to afford. Nothing in
the world is free every thing comes with a cost. The
institutions which are fighting for a good cause who will
pay for it for what benefit. Ninety percent of such insti-
tution run on the money of capitalist, industrialists, and
government funds. They do not spend if they are not
benefiting. This section also holds special importance in
this ism.
The most important point in this ism is control of AIDS.
The control measures in AIDS is more of selling of facili-
ties rather than controlling the disease itself. This struggle
is of Aids medicine, condoms and industries and indus-
trialists making injections and all these are associated with
some social service organization. These organizations

do not teach to avoid the causes of AIDS but they teach
how to avoid AIDS while doing the things and make aware
of the facilities. This is not religion, not service but pure
business. The same situation is happening in the work in
the name of sex education. Rather than teaching the im-
portance or usefulness of sex they talk about misutilization
and the facilities for it in their movement. This way nam-
ing homosexuality a revolutionary step or considering it
progressive is fooling you.
As far as courts perspective is concerned, we should
say this with full honor towards the court that there is
nothing in this verdict which is new and which justifies
the identity of homosexuality. Court also operates in a
boundary and can think and give verdict in the same
boundary. The court has certain constitutional bound-
aries like personal freedom, human right, equal rights,
these words are constitutional and accepted which have
formed the basis in this verdict but the facts that the side
presented in their favor are weak and not explanatory
they are just for self contentment.
The supporter of homosexuality believe that this na-
ture is by birth and very natural. We should remember
that first of all we are humans and a social animal. If we
have something in us it might be natural but not social. In
this world good and evil, moral immoral, religion skep-
tics were always there but there acceptance was mea-
sured on the scale they affected the person, family or
society. Not only homosexuality but other sexual per-
version has been there always but its acceptance cannot
be based on its prevalence. In ancient text there are in-
stances of theft but this will not make theft acceptable.
when theft and honesty both are there then the one which
is beneficial for the individual and society will be given
recognition by religion and law. Theft is not bad because
it harms others but also it degrades the soul and tendency

to steal is increased. If homosexuality is considered alright
then what morality will be left concerning mother, sister
and daughter. Sexual power is the power to produce there-
fore it has been given by the nature, human intellect should
use it it is humanity if he misuses it then it is weakness. If
this tendency is considered good it is the degradation of
good path.
Those who call this tendency as natural by birth they
forget that western philosopher Sigmund Freud consid-
ered attraction of the opposite sex so natural that we went
to say that the attraction between father and daughter
and mother and son is the result of sex. Can we call this
lawful. Manu says that good behavior is the result of
societal watch otherwise by nature man can degrade to
any limit. He says that man should not be alone with
mother, daughter or sister as impulse can fall heavy on
the prudence. Therefore to say that we find such points
in literature, religion and history through pictures and
writings therefore this all happened in ancient India is
irrational and illogical. We also find points where it has
been forbidden which one should be accepted? Which
point has been more emphasized? The point that is ac-
cepted by the civilized society can only be accepted nothing
else. this way there is exception to every rule but the
exception cannot be made the rule. If we agree by the
Cacodemon justice that homosexuality being natural is
valid then prostitution is even more natural it should also
be validated. After making homosexuality lawful if pros-
titution is left behind will this not be a breach of equality?
can the mutual consent between two people is enough
to shatter the decorum of society. in this ism there is one
argument that this law is given and framed by English-
man Macaulay. if the wrong law given by Macaulay is to
be removed then why not remove the education system
framed by him which actually will benefit lakhs of people,
but on this issue every body becomes speechless . if the
law framed by Macaulay is not right as he was Christian
then the religious fundamentalism, violence, and hypoc-
risy should be done away with. in reality homosexuality
is accepted as crime in Indian religious texts and there is

also a punishment for it but it is a myth that since Macaulay
has written it therefore it is imported thought. actually
your entire constitution is imported and not in our favor
therefore it should be abolished.
Court thinks that “religious belief is that sex is made
by God for reproduction” in todays world this statement
does not carry weight- this though is the indication of
modernism and progressivism still is not right. Homo-
sexuality is unnatural therefore it is abnormal and unfair.
today there is a limited and bounded sexual relation be-
tween husband and wife so there is less incidence of
diseases , whereas in prostitution it is high similarly in
homosexuality it would be high. if this law is not there
children, stangers man and women will be free and soci-
ety will become disease house. court says that mans pro-
ductivity is also related to sex. this view does not co
relate to natural law and scriptures. nature does not do
nay work without a motive. if the motive were not there
then nature would not have made man and women sepa-
rately. therefore to say that just reproduction is not the
only motive of sex does not comply scientifically. had
homosexuality been so natural it would have been found
in birds and animals also. may be certain exceptions are
there but cannot be the nature. homosexuality is abnor-
mal and wrong behavior and the hormones are the proof
of this. the secretion in the body change for persons
who are used to unnatural sex. Persons of such behavior
have a feminine attitude though they are men. such per-
sons are called transvestite. The character and behavior
of such a person is different. Society is run within bound-
aries, without the limitations healthy and civilized society
cannot be found. eating food is natural but prudence dic-
tates which food is bad and which is good.
Therefore words which have been used for this like
privacy, human rights, liberty, equality can be the words
ornamenting literary work but cannot be incorporated in
the moral fabric of the society. Court is bounded to act in
the realms of law. but there can be no restriction on pru-
dence. Therefore, Manu enumerated the importance of

The roots of MNCs can be traced back to the com-
panies established by the Venetian, English, Dutch and
French traders during the Middle Ages. In ancient civili-
zations we find instances of traders going to foreign land
for trade. There are examples from Mesopotamian civili-
zation when they have crossed the boundaries of the coun-
try for trade. But this trade was carried independently by
individuals. Traders used to form a group and go to dif-
ferent countries to sell their products and bought neces-
sary stuff from there. Trade of India with Rome, Burma,
Malaya (now Malaysia) China etc came in this category.
During the roman rule inter nation trade flourished. But
after the downfall of the Roman Empire trade between
India and china picked up. Basically South India was more
into trade with China. Neither there was any room for
exploitation in this form of trade not there was any clash
of interest between the host and the guest country.
The Muscovi Company can be termed as the first MNC
which had the characteristics of modern day MNCs. It
was established in 1553. Just after 3 years of its creation
it had established its trading units in important cities of
the world. During 1553 and 1581 the Muscovi Company
reaped windfall profits and in 1581 the promoters cre-
ated one more huge company The Turkey Company. The
feature of this company was that consequent to its con-
ception it spread to many important cities of the world. It
was not so that there was no other company established
during 1553 to 1581. Other small companies came into
existence but could not sustain. Therefore we can say
that The Muscovi Company had the monopoly in trade
from 1553 to 1581.
In 1600 East India Company came to India for trade.
Though this was established in the reign of Queen Eliza-
beth First it acquired the MNC character in 1600. Before
coming to India this company tried to establish itself in
other parts of the world but was not successful. At that

time many small Dutch companies were trading. Few
Dutch companies had penetrated India also. In 1612 East
India Company fought a war with the Dutch companies
in Ambonia (Indonesia). In this war East India Company
in a conspiracy did group murder of the Dutch officials.
By 1667 East India Company wiped out the Dutch com-
panies. To capture the Surat port East India Company
waged a war in Swali n 1612 which established the su-
premacy of East India Company on Surat Port. Thereaf-
ter East India Company strengthened its hold over entire
India.
The period of 175 and beyond was the era of Indus-
trial Revolution in Britain. During this era techniques of
production was changed and automated. During 1600 to
1750 the English companies in which East India Com-
pany is also there made Englishmen masters of colossal
wealth. Exploitation of India and the South East Asian
countries increased the flow of money in the English
market. The strength of market – the MNCs became stron-
ger. The power of money metamorphosised in the form
of industrial Revolution.
Industrial Revolution uplifted the commercial compa-
nies from ground to sky. The principle of less cost and
more production rapidly increased the profits. During 1765
and 1785 in just 20 years there were many inventions at
the same time many MNCs came into existence.
During the famine of 1770 in India when people were
dying, in English land there was shameful showoff of
glory. People were dying in the same ratio in the East
India Company created famine to the new invention and
birth of new companies in the English empire. The money
accumulated in the banks of England was so much that
had it been accumulated in any other part of the world it
would have brought about Industrial Revolution.
East India Company started trade with India with mere
50,000 pound, however, by 1770 the profits increased

to 20,00000 annually. By 1860 other MNCs which were
English had made their mark which were Andrew Yul &
Co, Maclite & Co., Duncan And Brothers Company,
Octavious Steel & Company, Gillanders Arbuthnot Com-
pany, Shaw Wallace Company. There were certain com-
panies whose more than 50 branches were operating in
different parts of the world. One major fact about these
British companies is that in which ever country they en-
tered for trade they established British rule there. British
companies played a major role in spreading the British
Empire.
By the mid 1880s 13 British companies were trading
in North America. Later on these countries where British
companies were trading became British Colonies. These
colonies were named after the companies which became
the masters of these countries. To cite example Massa-
chusetts, Boston, Lexington, Virginia, Maryland, Jersey,
Pennsylvania etc were named after the companies which
were trading in these lands. A revolution under leadership
of leaders like George Washington started in America to
liberate the nation from the colonies. The strongest plane
of the revolution was boycott of English goods. People
stopped buying English made goods. They stopped other
types of cooperation to the British companies. Non co
operation and boycott were the two voices in the Ameri-
can land and a result in 1783 America was liberated from
English slavery. Those 13 companies had to withdraw
from America.
The seeds sown by the British companies now sprouted
in America. Many small companies came into existence
there. In 1865 civil war in America stopped which can be
given the mane of Industrial revolution. After the civil
war America got into the footsteps of the Britishers.
Americas first MNC was Singer which was estab-
lished in 1867. This company established it first of shore
production unit in Glasgow Scotland in 1867. In 1867
Bayer started its first production unit in Cologne, France;
here the chemical aniline was produced. The company
was incorporated by the famous scientist Frederick Bayer
who hailed from Germany. In 1866 world famous physi-
cist Alfred Nobel established Nobel Industries for pro-

ducing dynamite. In Hamburg. These three companies
were MNCs and today they are at pinnacle in the eco-
nomics world with their 450 other companies. Remem-
ber that the distinguished Nobel Prize is given by the same
Nobel Industries which manufactures dynamite.
The beginning of the 19th century saw the tremen-
dous growth in the size and wealth of the MNCs. There-
fore the European government started the policy of pro-
tectionism. Under this they gave protection to their own
companies and imposed regulations to check penetration
of foreign companies in indigenous market. By 1890 in
America 5000 companies had been established. Now it
was difficult for them to penetrate the European markets
as many strict economic restrictions had been imposed.
Now these American companies formed trusts to
Forgo competition among them. There was a coali-
tion in the 5000 companies and they united and by the
onset of First World War there were 300 conglomerates
had strong hold on the countries economic system and
had penetrated the European market. The agreement in
these 5000 companies showed ways and means to keep
away from competition and clash of interest to the up-
coming companies. When 500 companies got together to
make 300 conglomerates there was uproar in the Euro-
pean countries. The economic embargos proved futile.
With the policy of by hook or by crook these companies
infiltrated the European markets and changed the eco-
nomic system according to their interest. They gave the
slogan of open market and devastated their ancestral jobs.
By First World War the bet had turned upside down. Now
the American companies had the bet which was there
with Britain in the past. In 1901 Standard Oil Company
was the largest company in Britain. By 1914 American
company Ford manufactured almost one third of the to-
tal cars manufactured in Britain. This company was how-
ever, established by Henry Ford in 1903. By the begin-
ning of First World War the American companies had
stamped the European markets. In this context the book
written by F A McKenzie, “The American Invaders” is
very important. In his words –“America has invaded
Europe not with armed men, but with manufactured prod-

ucts. Its leaders have been captains of industry and skilled
financiers, whose conquests are having a profound ef-
fect on the lives of the masses from Madrid to St. Peters-
burg. Nothing is safe in the hands of these despotic com-
panies. Our drivers are desperate to sit in American cars.
Our children are fed on American food and the aged bur-

sages, ascetics, the great sages of modern times-
Maharishi Dayanand and Gandhiji have considered it as
sin and best to be forgone. Even if we have to bet every-
thing we shall do that but we will protect the character of
India and will make India the spiritual, social, economic
and political super power of the world.

What are the great associations in the world? Just like
in syllables there is a prefix syllable and there is a suffix
syllable - these syllables can be conjoined (by sandhi);
this option can be exercised by adding alphabets, and the
process is called as joining (sandhana). Similarly, in the
universe, the Earth is the primordial form, the Heaven
(svarga) is the final form, their joining agent is the Sky,
and the union is the Air. Similar to the conjoining of syl-
lables, this is the great association in the world. As if
these worlds are alphabet. Just like different syllables
combine to form a new syllable, similarly different com-
ponents of universe combine to form the great knowl-
edge of Brahman.||2||

What are the great associations in light? The primor-
dial reason for light is the Fire, the supreme state of light
is the Sun. Therefore, the Fire is the primordial form, and
the Sun is the final form. When Fire and Sun combine,
then Water is produced. That is why rainy season arrives
after a heavy summer. Therefore, the Water is the com-
bination. The expression of Water happens by Lighten-
ing, therefore Lightening is the joining. Just like the asso-
ciation of syllables, this is the great association of radiant
objects. These radiant objects are like syllables, and just
like different syllables combine to form a new syllable,
similarly different combinations of Fire, Sun, Water, and
Lightening combine to form the great knowledge of Brah-

What are the great associations in knowledge? The
primordial source for knowledge is the preceptor. The
target of knowledge is the disciple. Therefore, the pre-
ceptor is the primordial form, and the disciple is the final
form. The unification of preceptor and disciple is due to
knowledge, therefore knowledge is the agent of union.
The expression of knowledge is done through discourses.

syllables, this is the great association in knowledge. The
components of knowledge, viz., preceptor, disciple,

What are the great associations of the Soul present in
the body? The sense-organs of actuation are the primor-
dial form. The sense-organs of knowledge are the final
form. The voice is the agent of union of these sense-

expression of voice. These great associations are giving
discourses about the knowledge of Brahman.||6||

There is association everywhere in the world, there is
bringing together. Every object is associated as if it were
made for each other. These associations are not only there
in alphabets and words, but they are present in all the
things created in the world, in the earth and the heaven,
in the fire and the sun, in the preceptor and in the disciple,
in the mother and in the father, in the various sense-organs
of body. He who knows this great association of the
world, becomes associated with progeny, animal wealth,
surreal resplendence, grains, and the heaven (svarga).||7||
(In this Upanishad, it is said that association of ob-
jects is the biggest lesson. There is association every-
where in the world. The great associations told by the
preceptor to the student can be presented in the follow-
ing tabular form –

If these are meditated upon individually, then the great-
association is apparent, as if they were cast careful to fit
each other. This is the great knowledge of Brahman in
Upanishads. This great association in the world realizes
the knowledge of Brahman even to atheists. In this
Upanishad, having shown the association of syllable,
vowel, and meter as a great-association, it is told that the
associations told in the book will succeed only if that
association is understood as a great-association in life.

complishments which are instrumental does not impel
its potentialities into action but helps to remove obstacles
to evolution, just as a farmer builds banks to irrigate his
fields.
Meaning : It has been seen that the ritual of medita-
tion, dharna, and other limbs of yoga help in accom-
plishing the Para conscious knowledge and other siddhis.
With the onset of this the ritualistic limbs of yoga the
accomplishment of siddhis is inevitable. It has been said
in the purva sutra that siddhi emerge when the updan
tatva is accomplished in the higher consciousness plane.
In such a situation one becomes curious whether the
ritualistic limbs of yoga is incidental in accomplishing
the siddhis or is just a exacerbation in obstacles . the
sutra creator has answered this as evolved yogis
channelize the rich flow of natures energy to liberate
themselves from the bondage of their actions and de-
velop spiritual insight. It just removes the obstacles which
stop evolution. The same way as the farmer builds dykes
between fields to regulate the flow of water. He breaks
dykes to soak another part until the entire field is irri-
gated. In a similar fashion here also different limbs of
yoga remove the obstacles- rajoguna, tamoguna- which
stops the yogis to evolve and relish emancipation.
Sutra preface : Science of every subject has initial
and advance stage. Invention of radio tape recorder etc
was in the initial stage towards the development of elec-
tronics. Today the invention of satellites connected to
super computer is the advanced stage of invention. In
the era when only radio was invented a book on satellite
communication would be considered neither true nor
untrue. Yoga vigyaan is in the same situation currently.
People who are doing yoga analysis are in the initial stages
and when they find statements in books of yoga phi-

direction , prayojakam- the usefullness , chittam ekam-

Sutra Meaning: Consciousness is one but branches
out into many different types of activities and innumer-
able thought waves.
Meaning : The meaning is that the trend created
though the creation of different bodies by the yogi he
has to edit the consciousness incidentally by creating
another conscious, how can different conscious be made
from one. All the conscious thus created should be dif-
ferent. The answer is that as we have five sense organs
and five kriya organs same way there also one con-
scious can regulate many conscious. So as a regulation
creation of multiple conscious is not required.
In the beginning of the chapter the obtainment dif-
ferent powers through birth, medicine, mantra, tapa, and
renunciation has been talked about. This naturally makes
one curious if there is a difference because of the cycle
of birth and death in the attained conscious. In the next
sutra this curiosity is solved.

primeval times you are like this you seek comradeship through war. O Indra, from all ancient time rivalless
ever and companionless art thou. Thou seekest comradeship in war.
Humility – o Lord, for you there is no enemy or no friend. You are on a higher plane where friendship
and enmity do not exist. For you how can there be a leader or a controller ? you are the controller of the
universe you are the leader. This is your behavior since creation. Birth here does not imply that you are ever
born. You are eternal and since eternity you are companionless and devoid of rivals. Though you are
detached still you seek our companionship but through war, and nothing but war! This is your lovely arrange-
ment. You want that all the persons in this world be your comrade after waging the worldly war. Really a
peace without a quarrel, love without struggle, treaty without war is plain, unreal and without any value.
Friendship and enmity can be truly felt in the presence of the struggle. O my Lord now I know though you
want our welfare still you cast sorrow, pain, poverty, disease, stress, disagreements, anxiety. Now I know
why you create obstacles and made our life a continued warlike struggle. You have done this so that we can
conquer these obstacles, pave our way through these difficult and hard times and become eligible seek the
sweetness of your companionship. You are still our companion. You are the companion of even the antitheist
and skeptical ( but actually you are neither the friend nor the enemy of anybody) still the feeling of your
companionship or the divine pleasure of seeking you can be obtained only when we cross the hurdle of the

prize. Isn’t it a cause of concern
for Indians?
For a nation of such a huge popu-
lace, is this not a cause for concern?
Original writing and research is done
in the native languages not in im-
ported ones. It does not happen in
Russia, China or in France. English
language has stopped the growth of
our ingenious languages. Indian lan-
guages including Hindi have fallen
prey to this rampant use of English.
English has divided Indians. More
than 95 percent of the people do not
know English. Newspapers are an
integral part of people-to-people con-
tact, In how many regions of the
country are English newspapers
read? From Delhi many English
newspares are published, but their
readership is limited. English news-
papers are limited to big towns and
cities. Their readership is the same
as it was 15-20 years ago.
In how many villages, small
towns, districts are English newspa-
pers read? The answer will be NO.
English newspapers have publica-
tions in Chandigarh, Delhi, Kolkata,
Mumbai, Bangaluru, Hyderabad,
Vijayvada, Chennai, Madurai,
Coimbatore, Cochin, Trivandrum and
other cities. The Hindu, Indian Ex-
press are examples of this, whereas
there is no part of the country where
Hindi readers are not found, Hindi
newspapers are not published. Hindi
newspapers far outnumber English
ones in many parts of the country.
Then there are all the newspapers
published in other local languages.
Still English is the craze across the
country. Because of this Hindi and
other languages are pitted against
each other. Apart from Hindi, Tamil,
Telegu, Kannada, and other lan-
guages are not being given their due.
In the name of opposing Hindi, in
how many non-Hindi speaking South
cities is English spoken? How many
English films are made there? In
fact, even in Chennai most films are
made in Hindi. Then in south Indian
languages. No films in English are
made. Bharat Natyam is not in En-
glish.
Karnatak music is not in English.
Literature is in local languages
Malayalam and Kannada, not in En-
glish. Then why is the south associ-
ated with English? English has no
association with the south or the
north, or in India’s cultural and lan-
guage traditions. The language of 4-
5 percent people has destroyed In-
dian languages. The country’s poli-

ticians, central and state govern-
ments are responsible for this. In the
constitution, post 1950 for 15 years,
till 1965, but changes were made to
the constitution in 1967 and 1976, so
that usage of English could continue
indefinitely.
This is the reason, that today use
of English is prevalent in Central gov-
ernment offices. Central and state
government’s communication is in
English. Apart from central govern-
ment – in Nagaland, Kerala, Tamil
Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka,
Bengal, Tripura, Mizoram, etc only
English is used. In Hindi speaking
states too, English usage in increas-
ing.
The situation is such that in Delhi,
Punjab, Bengal, Bihar, Haryana,
Maharashtra and other states En-
glish is introduced in the primary
sections itself, because of which in
the country’s education, social and
economic spheres, English speaking
people have an advantage and a
preference in jobs. The common man
of India, ordinary student cannot
aspire to this level. In All India Ser-
vices and in other jobs English speak-
ers have an advantage. Hindi speak-
ing and other Indian language
pkeaking people are ignored totally.
On the face of it we are inde-
pendent, but after so many years of

surperfacial and cheap craze for music and an increase
commercial approach has started telling up on the qual-
ity of music. In fact, in all the ages, efforts have always
been made to distort the eternal and traditional form of
music but it appears that such efforts have taken a very
serious turn in the century.
Off course, I am telling all these things in view of
the changing public attitude towards music. The people
have begun to think that even music may be a major
source of earning money but these people must realize
it that in the field of music, money is not the priority but
the creation of pleasure. I believe that for a life not only
music but money is also a must and I am telling it with
an emphasis that money is not all and all for life but I
am talking of the pleasure which cannot be derived from
money. You know it very well that the pleasure, I am
talking of, cannot be achieved with money but with the
accompaniment of the fine arts and music tops them
all. It must be given a serious thought as I don’t mean
to say that I have any doubt about the talents of our
youth who are participating in the Indian Idol. In fact,
the point is not that of doubt or suspicion but that of the
mentality and the mind set. I am worried whether this
generation which is entering in the field of music will
stop at this stage itself. To participate in music compe-
tition is not bad but the underline intention is definitely
bad as it is destroying the originality of Indian music.
Moreover, the traits of Indian music have also started
changing and apprehension of distortion of its actual
character is increasing. I believe that music competi-
tion may earn name and fame for a person but the big-
gest challenge for a practitioner of music is to under-
stand the spirit of music because the practice of music
is like the worship of god. The entire universe is brim-
ming with the existence of god. Similarly, there is music
in each and every particle of the universe. I believe that
if the people want to make their family happy and pros-
perous, they should make their children get the basic
education and the education of fine arts. I believe that

each and every child has an inherent overwhelming tal-
ent and capacity of learning arts and giving it an ex-
pression but the need is to take them in that direction.
Arts definitely arouse the sensitivities of a person.
Actually, music broadens the horizons of love and
compassion in a man and he avoids the non human con-
duct in his life. I mean to say that education of music
develops not only the natural traits of a man but also
given him a proper guidance. All the arts of this world
stand against violence and remove the primitive traits
of man and take away the vices of jealousy and enmity.
That is why I consider the education of fine arts and
their practice so necessary for the human beings and
the humanity at large. There is no short cut for the world
of music and arts. It requires a long and constant prac-
tice while our young generation tries to avoid such tough
routes.
I believe that music knowing people should not adopt
a commercial approach in the field of music unless and
until it has attained the fullest maturity. What will the
future of those children who have joined the rat race
for top positions with their half hearted efforts in the
field of music? It will have only an adverse impact on
the entire generation of listeners and music lovers. I
believe that the people do not understand classical mu-
sic just because of this fact that they do not have enough
of such public performances and on such occasions,
the taste of the general public is also over sighted. The
reason is clear that there is no understanding of the
basics of music in the people and in that situation how
they can like it. To my mind, the main reason is that
hitherto, full attention has not been given to the devel-
opment and expansion of other arts like music in this
country. Some time back, there was a music program
in a middle level city of Rajasthan where a team of our
musicians was going to present a group song that some
people from the audience started hooting. I have no
complaint against those people of the city but this inci-
dent makes it amply clear that in these days, the peoples
love for music is gradually declining and such incidents
speak not only of the people’s mentality but also that of
the entire social and cultural milieu. Perhaps this should
be a matter of serious concern not only for me but for
all.

 Special on Vijayadashmi
Vijayadashmi is a sacred day for Hindus because
in these auspicious moments Maryada Purshottam Ram
had set out on his vijay Yatra and in a very short period,
he had killed Ravan, the king of Lanka and had freed
innumerable creatures from his atrocities. This victory
of Ram was an unprecedented triumph of religion over
immorality. Ram had invaded Lanka not to take over
the empire of Ravan and also not to enslave the people
of Lanka to exploit them but to root out atrocities and
establish religion according to Aryan traditions. By pre-
senting the ideal of a true hero with his victory, he had
demonstrated the greatness of Kshatriya religion as
approved by Aryan traditions. As soon as the present
war mongers of Europe and America adopt this ideal to
implement it, better it is for the world peace.
In order to invade Lanka Maryada Purshottam Ram
had not taken any military assistance from Ayodhyay
or Mithila. He had fought this battle on his own. The
day of Vijayadashmi reminds us of the moments when
there was natural sovereignty of the Aryans and when
it wanted the tribals to stand on the basis of their orga-
nizational potential in the face of atrocities of the pow-
erful in order to protect the oppressed and irradiation of
atrocities. We welcome Lord Ram because he demon-
strated his leadership qualities and velour according to
Aryan traditions and had glorified the spirit of confi-
dence. Ram is our adorable, not for this fact that he
was the incarnation of god and could move the world
according to his wishes and with the constant repetition
of his name, man crosses the hurdles of this world and
he could make the Sun to rise in the East, infuse life in
the dead, could dry up the ocean and bring down the
planets of Sun and Moon on the Earth etc. etc. but we
worship him because he was an ideal person and con-
crete embodiment of Aryan culture.
In the Indian society, rules and by laws have been
coming down from the very beginning. We look at Ram
with great reverence because he followed the rules like
an ordinary person. Similarly, we look at Bali and Ravan
with hatred and humiliation because one of them had
occupied his brother’s wife and the other, instead of
protecting the society, had violated the social laws and
Aryan traditions by creating terror.
To call Ram a special gift of Aryan culture is no
exaggeration. While human development has been given
top priority in Aryan culture, the under developed Asian
and European society has taken the material develop-
ment and physical power as its ideal. It is for this rea-
son that in spite of its passage through the horrible blows
of stormy times and tribulations, Aryan culture has sur-
vived to this day. Any race can survive only when it
contributes to the natural activities of human develop-
ment. History tells us that all those communities who
refuse to go ahead by giving up the killings, fraudulent

ways and physical assaults and considered them to be
the only source of their progress and satisfaction, were
annihilated.
We bow to Ram as the symbol of Aryan culture.
We also pay our tributes to the respected Sita because
she has left an indelible print on the character of Aryan
women by her conduct. Her faithfulness and sacrifice
has been encouraging the Aryan women folk to make
their entire lives full of sacrifices. Restraint of Laxman
and brotherly love of Bharat still gives us agility and
feels us with the strength of character. We like that
portrait of Ram in which he is walking through the for-
est with naked feet in the company of his brother and
wife. While other communities like that portrait of Ram
in which Caesar had killed his enemy by poison or the
Napoleon bombarding a city with his gun shots or Per-
sian soldiers marching ahead with his legs moving to-
wards sky. That is the only difference between the two
communities and the mystery of the immortality of our

The concept of worship of goddess Aprajita on
Vijayadashmi had originated in the Pauranik era itself.
Perhaps, its origin may be in the imagination of an in-
domitable goddess named Vijaya or the form of idol of
Vagdevi or Saraswati which was indomitable as per the
flight of an imagination of a poet because Pauranik way
of worshipping her with all formal rituals might have
started with the poetic allegory. Payta which is the other
popular name of Vijayadashmi appears to be the dis-
torted form of Aprajita. In the dark days of India riddled
with ignorance, this goddess Aprajita had such a pre-
dominance by the names and forms of Chandi and
Kalika etc. that her worship completely over shadowed
the actual way of worshipping Vijayadashmi and the
blood thirst of the imaginative horrible shape of Kalika,
Chandi assumed such dimensions that on this auspi-
cious occasion the tradition of making sacrifices of in-
numerable creatures including human beings, buffalos
and goats. On the day of Vijayadashmi, the land of
Rajputana and Maharashtra used to become red with
the blood of innocent animals. It is a matter of satisfac-
tion that with the efforts of propagators of mercy as
religion now this heinous practice has come to an end in
certain princely states and regions but for the followers
of Arya dharm, there is yet a lot of work to be done. It
is the prime duty of these followers that by bringing an
end to these miscellaneous forms of atrocities in this
world, propagate once again the pure and eternal form
of these festivities in the public and by revising the an-
cient history of India make a publicity of the real dates
of actual happening of these historical events for the
common man, only then they can prove the veracity of
their name Arya means the followers of Vedic reli-
gious traditions.

I ndia is a land of sages, saints, intellectuals, thinkers,
who have taken the humanity out of the worldly flames
and have not despaired them with their manna speech but
have enumerated the secret of life and aim and have en-
lightened the way to welfare. They have curbed the hu-
man tendency though their spiritual knowledge by the
medium of shruti and shaddarshan (Sankhya yog, nyaya,
vaisheshik, mimansa, vedant) and attainment of the real
pleasure. This way they have done the well being of all .
such benevolent and friend of god , spiritualist complete
sages never ending blessings this world till eternity will
go on the way of self welfare and self emancipation.
The originator of yoga philosophy Maharishi Patanjali
has written at the beginning of yogdarshan-

People seeking self realization should read this book.
This sutra of yogdarshan points towards self discipline
and points towards mind, speech and action and its in-
corporation. Without reigning the wandering mind and
annihilating lust one cannot pave on this way. For its cor-
rection Maharishi Patanjali writes-

Yoga is cessation of mental activity from the material.
But this is not a normal activity, but a difficult task. for
this saints have given following remedy

Practice and renunciation is extremely important to
control the deviating mind. Only practice is the way to
obtain chitta vriti Nirodh-controlling the activities of the
mind. For this the saint again give a remedy and say that-

To stop the activities of mind for worldly subjects
practice and renunciation is extremely important. Re-
lentless practice is alone the step towards “chitta vriti
nirodh”. Human mind is a restless wanderer, it seeks af-
fection, and he it wanders to the worldly matters repeat-
edly. The sense organs steal our heart. When a man has
renunciated his feelings of honor- humiliation, happiness
and mourning, love –hate, and his mental activities be-
comes one with God then he becomes self collected. He
only can then be a follower of yoga. Shri Krishna says in

According to Vedanta , the inner psychical mind which
is engaged in researching desires and alternatives is called
the chitta / conscious. This chitta or mann bears all the
worldly afflictions. Not the soul as the soul is beyond all
this. Since the soul is without any affliction it does not
feel pain. Conscious and the body are different than soul.
There are three body doshas – Vata, pitta and kapha. If
the balance is maintained in the three then body is healthy
if it is disturbed body falls sick. Similarly the dosha of
conscious are rajas and tamas. Both contaminate the
conscious. There are three states of conscious pure, ra-
jas and tamas. Pure conscious is the welfare and with-
out any dosha. Rajas conscious is with affliction as there
is dosha in it, tamas mann is full affection therefore it is
contaminated. among these three with tar and tam there
can be numerous states. Like pure, more pure and pur-
est. Through the different yonis of the body there can be
numerous conscious as it is as per the body. Maharishi
Atreya gives the states of Mann he writes – brahma, rishi,
indra, yam, varun, kuber and gandharva are the seven
types of pure mann. Asura, raksasa, prêt, pishacha, sarp
and paksshi are the six types of rajas mann, and pashu,
machali and briksha are the three types of tamas mann.
Sages have classified consciousness on the basis of mans
psychology keeping in mind the symptoms.
The tendency of the creature if pure, pious, leaned
towards self realization , lover of God, prudent, can ana-
lyze truth and falsity, intellectual , devoid of the five dis-
tortions, is the pure conscious, one who is ful of cheat

and fraud, pervert, impatience, eats uneatable, lazy, en-
tertainment seeker, full of love and hate, coward, impure.
Angry and greedy, are the ones with tamsik tendencies.
Therefore the self discipline sutra as told by Maharishi
Patanjali in the beginning itself the reason being until man
removes his mind from the petty lust he cannot follow
yoga.lord Krishna says in The Gita-

The way the river enters the ocean and without being
disturbed by the mighty ocean it mingles and becomes
one , similarly the when all the fruition mingles in the self
N ow a day 1 child out of 4 suffers from poverty,
malnutrition, illiteracy, Increase In hatred, insecurity and
is a victim to discrimination. Around 9.9 Cr. children
after the age of 5 die from diseases or malnutrition.
Post the 11 September 2001 the terrorist attack on the
massive buildings of World Trade Center, New York,
now international terrorism has become the biggest
threat to human civilization. International terrorism is
the result of the global spread of anarchy between people.
This is a very dangerous situation where people are doing
violent and destructive activities the people imagine the
complaint and the misery and for this they hold the sys-
tem responsible that it does not do relief to them.
Children are the most important medium to bring
changes to the today’s troubled human civilization situ-
ation. All nations are together when it comes to the se-
curity and rights to be given to the children.
All governments in World who are drowned in the
state of war I would like attention and want them to
look that all children of the world are in pathetic condi-
tion, explained below:
1. 40,000 children less than 5 yrs of age die every day
due to malnutrition and diseases.
2. 1.5 to 1.8 Cr. Children are victim to death every year
for reasons which can be avoided. Nearly half of
children could be saved by less expensive health re-
lated care. 8,000 children die due to no vaccination.
7,000 due to diarrhea and 6,000 due to phenomena
die every day. There is a need for necessary health
services for them which would cost around USD
$2.5 Billion.
3. Almost 10 Cr. Children belonging to the primary
school age group are not involved in any educational
activity in any way.

controlled person without creating a disturbance he at-
tains the ultimate peace. This sermon of lord Krishna is
worthy of being inculcated in life. Until there is a balance
in conscious, action and speech till then the first sutra of
self discipline cannot be perceived. Today we see that
everywhere one practicing yoga have not inculcated bal-
ance in conscious, action and speech therefore though
they have got the benefits of healthy body through yogic
process but on the mental and intellectual plane they have
not been able to take Maharishi sermon in their heart. The
sacrifice of petty lust is the one and only way to achieve
ultimate peace of the conscious, and such a person in
true sense is the follower of yoga.

with toilets.
5. 5 Lac. Mothers die during child birth or while preg-
nant.

has come down while we know that many children

9. More than 100 Cr. people are homeless or else they
are living with their children in dehumanized condi-
tions.
10.More than 1 Cr. children are refugees which ac-
counts for 60% - 70% of total refugees. There is
malnutrition in refugee camps and children live with-
out their mother and father their entire life in closed
refugee camps which are heavily barbed wired and
surrounded by guns.
11.There is a need for finding a solution for globally
prevalent problems.
12.Due to the absence for these globally prevalent prob-
lems there is a rise in the problems globally are be-
coming more complicated and become more per-
sistent.
To give children a secure future is the prime duty
of the nation because children are the future of the
nation.

Seminar on 'Yoga and Dentistry' Concluded
ROLE OF YOGA IN CURING TEETH-SWAMI RAMDEV
In Patanjali Yogapeeth ‘ Yoga and Dentistry' was the
subject on which a day’s seminar was organized and
starting the One day seminar on Yoga and Dentistry re-
spectable Swami Ramdev Ji said the world over people
have accepted the importance of Yoga .Yoga can cure all
the diseases. Curing dental problem Yoga can play a vital
role. Yoga and ayurveda as a medium, all diseases are
cured in Patanjali Yogapeeth.
At this seminar Acharaya Balkrishna Maharaj said first
Dental specialist do yoga and feel it and then explain the
effect of this to the people. Acharya said for tooth/dental
problems Yoga and ayurveda plays a vital role. Ayurveda
has method to restrict pain in tooth as well as removal of
bad teeth without pain. Acharyashree said dental special-
ist should understand the importance of Yoga and Ayurveda
and motivate their patients to follow these practices.
Ayurveda has lots of medicinal herbs which are used to
cure dental ailments.
Patanjali Yogapeeth dental specialist Kuldeep Singh
while presenting in seminar said there are various types
of ailments related to teeth and gave a descriptive note on
dental ailments like pyorrhea and various other type of
related diseases. Curing dental problem Yoga can play a
vital role. Yoga and ayurveda as a medium can cure all
diseases.
On this occasion doctors who came to Patanjali
Yogapeeth where in all praise for Yoga and ayurveda and

high level meeting
Army’s infertile and vacant land will be used for
cultivation of herbs ( Herbal Parks).
In Patanjali Yogapeeth Auditorium among Central com-
mand lucknow Officers and army personnel’s respected
Swami Ramdev Ji maharaj and Acharya Balkrishna
Maharaj did a presentation on importance of
ayurveda.swami Ji said how we can with the help of
Yoga we can keep our soldiers, Army Personnel’s fit and
keep their morale at all time high and increase the love for
nation. Achraya Balkrishna Ji Maharaj said how we can
setup herbal park and how we can cultivate the medicinal
herbs over there.
While presenting in front of army’s representatives
respected swamiji said he has an old relationship with the
Army, I put up my first yoga camp in 1994.For military
and paramilitary staff I have taken Yoga classes. Army
has biggest challenges-stress, Due to stress all diseases
and psychology changes are there. Diseases of all types
severe and simple both come in ones life. Due to diseases
the physical ability of a person comes down and which
results in sagging morale. Due to decreased morale abil-
ity to fight and give a brave front reduces. Soldiers when
they practice pranayam their health and fitness improves
and which leads to increased morale. By practicing
pranayam body ailments reduces and vanishes and from
health point of view we become self reliant.
GOC in (Central Command, Lucknow) In General
Mohanty leadership almost half a dozen senior officials
came and soldiers were present to attend the seminar and
while presiding over the seminar SwamiJi said Military is
deployed at unreachable and difficult stretches and places
can practice pranayam even sitting in room. By practic-
ing Yoga every type strength increases.I am a saint but
from inside I am a fighter,saint and soldier has got a very
old relationship. Gita is the proof, In Mahabharata war
when Arjun was notr ready to take up soldier responsibil-

ity then Yogeswar Krishna got control over him and said
‘soul is always alive ‘ this is always said by saint but
soldier lives with this feeling.
In refernce to this Acharya Balkrishna Maharaj said
Patanjali Yogapeeth will always work for the nation and
its prosperity. For Nation’s benefit and agenda how we
can come forward and do it we should ponder on it.
Soldiers serve the nation and to increase their efficiency
yoga is very essential. For this Central command each
battalion military personnel come to Patanjali Yogapeeth
to train themselves of yogic practices and then train their
colleagues for the same.
Explaining details of Herbal Garden and medicinal herbs
Acharya said the land which are vacant and unused in the
premises of Army setup we can plant medicinal
herbs.Acharya ji said in the countries which are deficient
of fertile land we can plant medicinal plant on these land.
Taiwan uses its land very efficiently and uses every inch
of land properly.
Acharya Ji said army jawans who retire from ser-
vices they go to their villages but are least interested in
farming. They should take part and remain interested to
pursue farming. In Japan new generation is slowly mov-
ing away from farming but government is trying hard to
bring back those people to comeback for farming. We
should start growing medicinal plants without govern-
ment help, this will also make us financially stronger.
Giving the example of Haridwar Jail where two acres
of land which was unused we planted herbal plants few
years back is looked as model.You can also start all these
by taking medicinal seeds, plants etc and know how to
grow from Patanjali Yogapeeth. Patanjali Yogapeeth will
buy back the produce at the market rate from the grow-
ers. Please make all your unused land for growing me-
dicinal plants and herbal garden.
You can segregate medicinal plants into three catego-
ries like seasonal, Plants which take sometime and the
plants which take lots of time to be ready. He said if you
have less space instead of herbal garden you can estab-
lish herbal park. This will not be for commercial purpose
but for model. For daily use whatever we can cultivate,
for minor illness we can do medication from herbal parks.
This will be as good as hospitals and from this we can
reduce and control soldiers illness and health related prob-
lems. For this Acharya Ji took name of numerous names

of medicinal plants like Aakwasa, Akarkara, Akashbaali,
Amaltash, Amla ,Guava, Pomegranate, Aparajita, Arjun,
Arani, Ashok, Ashwagandha, many other varieties of
medicinal plants list they gave and described the good
aspects and educated about the same.
Describing about the research work done on Army
soldiers of Roorkee Acharya Shree said after doing this
experiment we got positive and very good results.
On this particular occasion Colonel K S Manhar (Com-
mand 42, Infantry battalion), Colonel P. Bali (Headquar-
ter Central Command, Lucknow) Major Rohit Thakur
(116/Garhi Cantt, dehradoon) Major Abhishek (58 A B
Roorkee) Lieutenant Colonel J Ele (S-8, A B Roorkee),
Major A S Thakur, Capt. M Jadojia, and other soidiers
were also present. Many different medicinal plants were
shown to them in the premises of Patanjali Yogpeeth first
and second phase and in the nursery. After strolling the
officers said that Swamiji and Acharya ji are doing com-
mendable work in the field of yoga and Ayurveda. This is
a service towards humanity and country.
From July to September yoga teachers from nine
states were imparted training
In the second phase of Patanjali Yogpeeth the yog
vigyan shivir started from 2nd July in which yoga teach-
ers from delhi, punjab, Haryana, rajasthan, and Chattisgarh
and Jharkhand, orrisa, andra Pradesh , Kolkata concluded
on 23 September 2009. It carried by Bharat Swabhimaan
Trust. In each camp 7000 campers took part.

For exemplary work two persons awarded for ag-
riculture and three awarded for Ayurveda.
On 4th August the inauguration of the postal stamp
issued on maharishi Patanjali, Herb Day, prize distribu-
tion ceremony, for exemplaray work in agriculture and
Ayurveda Acharya. Balkrishna addressed the audience and
said that the whole world is benefiting from yoga, Swami
Ramdev ji has determined to carry forward this tradition
and first of all he will do this in India of which 80% work
has been completed. The remaining 20% will also be con-
cluded in some time. Respected swamiji has taken the
vow to color the world in the yoga revolution this work
is also running smoothly. To give an example there is a
island in UK ( Scotland) Lilliput island where on 27th Sep-

tember we shall inaugurate Patanjali Yogpeeth, UK. He
said that 4th August is celebrated as Herb day and inaugu-
ration of postal stamp on maharishi Patanjali.
Acharya Shri said that those who have done exem-
plary work in Ayurveda and jadi buti will be awarded af-
ter being selected by Patanjali Yogpeeth. Every year the
farmers working in this area will be awarded.

Ramdev said that a new India has to be created which is
free of hunger and disease. 125 crore of population is
benefiting from yoga, swami ji said that today yoga move-
ment has taken a bigger dimension, this is igniting love
for nation in everybody’s heart, yoga is inspiring people
to lead a healthy life. People are being treated through
yoga and pranayaam. He said that for eras to come
Maharishi Patanjali yoga will spread like this.

Ayurveda and jadi buti have been given a new face for
which Patanjali Yogpeeth is praiseworthy. Congratulating
Acharya Balkrishna on his birthday he said that they have
made Uttarakhand the treasure of India. Uttarakhand can-
not be compared with any other state as this is the land of
jadi buti.
On this occasion Mr. S K Garg of Eldeco said that he
is tahnking Acharya Balkrishna and Swami Ramdev Ji for
the work being done at Patanjali Yogpeeth. He also an-
nounced to donate 11 lakh of rupees.

Yogrishi Swami Ramdev Ji and broadcasting State Min-
ister Mr. Gurudas kamat on this occasion distributed three
Ayurveda Gaurav and three krishi Gaurav awards.
“Ayurveda Gaurav” was given to three great intellectu-
als-Prof Krishnachandra Chunekar, Prof. (Dr.) Pallu
Pusshpangadan, Rajvaidya Brihaspati Das Triguna for their
exemplary work in the fields of herb , treatment, research
and education. Two agriculturist Shri Ponam Mallay and
Shri Mahendra Singh Kunwar were given the “Krishi
Gaurav” award for their work in organic cultivation and
cultivation of herbs. Each award carried a cash award of
1 lakh and 111 rupees and ornamentation.
On this occasion central technological and broadcast-
ing minister for state Mr Gurudas Kamat, Chief Minister
of Uttarakhand Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, agricul-
tural minister, animal husbandry, dairy, fishery, language
and agricultural education minister Mr. Trivendra singh

DEEPER QUESTION MARK ON DEMOCRACY AND CONSTITUTION
The Legislature, Executive, Judiciary and media are the four strong pillars of
democracy. In a democracy the voter is not gullible helpless or a slave and the
ruler is not the master, but the ruler is the worker of the masses who is elected by
the masses and bestowed with authority and rights. We have selected the MLAs
or the MPs as our representative to safeguard our interests. We have not made
them our representative to exploit us in disguise of governing or do injustice and
harassment under the guise of law. We have not given rights to the representatives
of the masses to snatch the right to live from us. The ruler is our worker and in
lieu of the services of MLAs, MPs, ministers, Chief Ministers or Prime Minister we give a part of our income tax, for their
salary, housing, entire expenses, petrol and car for travel. The ruler does not serve for free, but we from our income provide
each representative a heavy salary and every expenditure is taken care of, we also bestow them with powers and right so
that they can safeguard the interests of society, city, state or the nation but if they misuse the rights then we have all the
reason to remove them from the government. At present there is a nexus between the corrupt rulers and officers and a fear
has engulfed the nation and the common man finds himself helpless, gullible and cheated. Even in the independent India
the common man is fearful of the governance and is helpless due to harassment. Now wake up! Do not be exploited in the
name of governance. Live a life of self respect, self discipline and freedom! This is your country; you are not the slave but a
citizen of free India. In a democracy like the Legislature, Executive and Judiciary all administrative officers, police
systems, and judicial systems are a part of the democratic order which have been constituted for the safety, justice and self
respect of the masses. If a government officer, worker or police officer is doing injustice or is disrespecting you by using
unconstitutional means then you have all the right to raise your voice against this corrupt system and punish the corrupt
officers, terminate them from service because this entire government machinery and bureaucracy is getting paid from our
money for our security and to provide us justice. Do not be afraid of them, the protocol is important but always remember
that they are not our masters but a government servant. Every Indian is his master in this democracy who has certain
fundamental and constitutional right. Every citizen has complete freedom and is entitled to lead life with self respect and
discipline. Therefore wake up and stop bearing the injustice and corruption in the name of governance. All the corrupt
rulers should be removed from power by the means of right to vote. All those nationalist who are honest, who have a
mellow heart for the nation, and who earnestly seek the nations development we should do 100 % voting and bring such
nationalist, brave, transparent and visionary individuals in the seat of power. Save the nation. We should take vow that we
shall not loot our nation neither we should let the corrupt, dishonest individuals with criminal bent of mind to loot the
nation. This is my nation. I will not let it go waste. The so called leaders who sit in the highest temple of democracy -The
Assemblies Of Parliament, are themselves involve in shattering the democratic ideals and the people who take the oath of
the constitution and are killing it. I cannot remain a silent spectator. I will create the India as dreamt by the martyrs, will
bring a new freedom in the country, and remove harassment in the name of governance.
