I would like to show an incident from my past experience which clearly shows the bias in man-woman

binary.
I used to live in the company quarter homes provided by the industry where my father works .In my
colony, there used to live my best friend Suresh with one sister Kalpna. We were in same class 10th
Suresh scored 85% marks, while Kalpna scored 94 % and was the district topper. Both wanted to do
coaching for IIT-JEE, but due to lack of money, only Suresh got the chance to join and Kalpna couldnt
join. This was the first bias which I experienced .This was bias because although she got more marks and
more deserving than her brother but she was not given the chance for coaching.
Secondly after 12th class Suresh got admission in one NIT, while Kalpna was forced to do BSC from a
government college. So this was the second bias with her and also just after completion of her
graduation she was married.
Clearly, in this incident we woman is given less value than man no matter how mentally strong she is.
The mindset of people that one day girl child would live their home and go to other home while the boy
would earn money for them is the main reason for the bias here.
