Objectives:
TSW identify the different types of clouds from different powerpoint presentation
examples.
TSW take a walk outside of the classroom and will identify the type of weather on that
day.
TSW create a drawing/painting about what weather looks like to them.

Event/Motivation/Engagement:
TTW state the objective of the less, which is visualizing the different types of clouds.
TTW present a short PowerPoint presentation on weather.

Procedures/Concept Development/Experiences/Activities:
Instructional Input/Procedures:
1. TTW ask the students what weather is (the state of the atmosphere at a place and
time as regards heat, dryness, sunshine, wind, rain, etc.)
2. TTW ask what comes to mind when someone says weather?
Guided Practice/Activity:
1. TTW display several examples of different types of artwork of weather.
2. TTW ask the students to identify the different types of weather drawn. (Only
calling on students who have their hands raised)
Traditional Statement:
TTW tell the students that they are going on an adventure on the World Wide Web
learning about weather and they will create their findings and own ideas.

TTW take class on a quick walk outside to see the weather


TSW use his/her previous knowledge to identify the weather/clouds around them
TSW be responsible for knowing what they want to draw/paint about
TSW return to his/her classroom to begin sketching what weather looks like to
