North Korea is the country that went through so much


because of the war. Thats right its North Korea, after the
war North Korea faced some challenges and youll see what
challenges because there are some interesting ones!

Challenges
Throughout the 1990s North Korea suffered severe food
shortages that caused widespread
starvation. South Korea, The United
States and the international relief
agencies had to provide emergency
food and medical assistance.

Marijuana is legal and not even classified as a drug.
In North Korea it is not year 2014 its actually the year
203 after the birth of Kim Jong-il.
Korea hosts the largest seating stadium with 150,00
people being able to fit.
North Korea archaeologists announced to the world in
2012 that they discovered the lair of the unicorn.
Kim II-sung, the founder of North Korea was born on the
same day as the titanic sunk.

Located between 38o longitude
and 43o latitude, North Korea has
a continental climate with four
distinct seasons. Winters bring
bitterly cold and clear weather
interspersed with snow storms as a
result. The average temperature
for Pyongyang is from about -3oc
to -13oc. Average snowfall is thirty
seven days in the winter.
