Responsibilities:
• Project - includes first two items under visitations and a written
assignment
• Written assignments (3)
• Presentations (4 - 3 graded)
5 minute presentation on any topic of interest
5 - 10 minute presentation on motivational topic for a math lesson
60 minute lesson on a specified topic by groups
15 - 20 minute presentation on educational topic
• Visitations and teaching
3 periods in one week observing the same class
2 additional periods, one period teaching a lesson, one period
follow-up with same teacher
• Class participation - attendance and tardies will be figured into grades
• Completion of the required 20 hours early field experience and assignment is
mandatory to pass the course.
• Students enrolled in ED 5306 must also complete the alternative project.
