Breanne E. Szmara has been promoted to senior team accountant

at Schroedel, Scullin & Bestic, CPAs and Strategic Advisors. Bree
joined SSB as a Team Accountant in May 2012 and has since developed
and demonstrated a high level of technical competence and commitment to
quality service. She has specialized knowledge in the construction industry,
and her efforts in this area have contributed to the firms continued success.
Angela M. Duskey, CPA, has been promoted to the
position of manager at Schroedel, Scullin & Bestic,
CPAs and Strategic Advisors. Angela has specialized
knowledge in manufacturing, distribution and wholesale
and healthcare, and continues to add depth to the tax
department. Her commitment to these areas has contributed to the firm's continued success. Angela graduated cum
laude from YSU with a Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration with a major in Accounting and is a member
of the Ohio Society of CPAs and the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber.
Travis Kreidler, AIA, has been promoted to principal at
Desmone Architects, along side Principals Chip Demone, AIA;
Luke Desmone, AIA; Eric Booth, AIA; and Thea Martin. Travis
shares Desmones client-centric philosophy and his promotion will
enhance their capabilities to deliver superior performance.

Youngstown State University
Dana School of Music, in collaboration with the Butler Institute of
American Art, presents Music at
Noon performances. Performances
are held each Wednesday at 12:15 PM
at the Butler Institute of American Art.
The concerts are free and open to the
public and parking is free at the Butler.

announces a concert, Thursday, October 16, 2014, 7:00 p.m. featuring four
YSU Jazz Combos, led by Dave Kana,
Alton Merrell and Kent Engelhardt, in
The Hub, Kilcawley Center on the YSU
campus.

Youngstown State Universitys Department of Art announces

that visual artist Lorri Ott will provide a
free lecture open to the public as part
of the Departments Lecture Series on
Thursday, October 16, 2:00 p.m. in the
McDonough Museum of Arts auditorium.

Theater will present its opening main
stage performance,
the musical THE
SPITFIRE GRILL,
opening
Friday,
October 17. The
shows run is scheduled for October 17
October 19, and October 24 26 in
Bliss Halls Ford Theater. Friday and
Saturday performances begin at 7:30
p.m. while the Sunday matinee performances are at 2:00 p.m. The musical is
based on the film by Lee David Zlatoff,
the music and book is by James Valcq,
and lyrics and book by Fred Alley.
