Follow up Success and Failures Reflection
The most successful experience of this semester is about my improvement in Math class.
I received an B in midterm and I targeted to get an A as a final grade. And I almost made it.
Since i got an C in the chapter test, which rang the bell to encourage me learn more and work
harder, i started to do my homework on time other than procrastinating to the last minute,
therefore i have time to review and do the example test before the real test. All my efforts turn
out a good grade on the next test and my confidence has been raised. A positive attitude helped
me to study even harder. Besides, the participation in class played another important role, the
interaction in class makes it easier to memory the concept, and I can easily recall "oh, I
remember I asked this question class! In addition, i am proud of my notes. i collect all my note
paper in to a folder, now they are not separate line paper but useful study guide with examples
and definitions. Besides the success in math, I found my determination to achieve my goal and
my true strength to study.
In the midterm reflection, i found my failure of English essay. I admit it is a highrequirement class, but if the professor gives the topic, then there must exists a student can rock in.
because this believe i did more research on my paper, i went to TLC to talk to the english tutors
about my English studies. And i rewrote the one i got a D. though my professor did not change
my grade, he told me he saw my progress and efforts. i felt i am more successful in the end. And

i need to be braver to face the failure. The most dangerous situation is not the failure, but the idea
that you believe you will fail.
