Research Interests[3]:
Research Experience[4]
Coupled Scalar-Tachyon Bouncing Universe
Nov. 2014- Present
Advisor: Prof. Yeuk-Kwan E. Cheung
Conducted research on the Coupled Scalar-Tachyon field Bouncing Universe(CSTB)
model by analyzing its dierent phases Analyzed phase transitions and probability of phase
transitions including tachyon condensation. in the coupled scalar-tachyon field bouncing
universe [5](CSTB) model.[6]
Searched constraints to parameters in CSTB model using cosmology factsdetails from Cosmic
Microwave Backgroundcosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation, also; resolved
flatness problem with CSTB model.
Solved the equations of emotion numerically and used Monte Carlo method to determine the
possible ranges of parameters [7]and the sensitivity of initial conditions.
BuiltConstructed Tachyon-Higgs coupling model to explain baryon genesis in the early
universe based on the CSTB universe model.
Quantum Phase Transition in Spin Chains
May 2014 - Oct. 2014
Advisor: Dr. Gang Chen
Created an invoativeinnovative type of Quantum Phase Transition (QPT) induced by the
change of defects.
Researched quasi-1D Heisenberg spin chain model with two dierent defects using Density
Matrix Renormalization Group (DMRG) algorithm.
Discovered that the first-order Quantum Phase Transition can be characterized by both a
ground energy band, and entanglement entropy band of a certain part of spin chains.
Considered non-zero temperature eects using Quantum to -Classical mappingMapping and
transfer -matrix techniquemethod analytically, and DMRG algorithm numerically.
GeneralizingGeneralized defect -induced transition to two-dimensiondimensional materials
such as in Graphenegraphene, and also findingidentified algorithms for numerical solution.

Learned algebraic geometry for project, including GrobianGrbner basis as[8]because N=4
SYM amplitudes are polynomialpolynomials.
Construct directly Directly constructed the top form of loop -level scattering amplitudes in
N=4 SYM theory using methods from our former paper (arXiv:1411.3889) and algebraic
geometry.
Used top form and Unitarity Cutunitarity cut method to construct both Integrandthe
integrand and Integral Basisintegral basis of loop- level amplitudes in N=4 SYM theory.
Leading singularitiesSingularities of General Loop-levelLevel Amplitudes
Feb. 2014 Nov. 2014
Advisor: Prof. Yeuk-Kwan E. Cheung, Dr. Gang Chen
Expounded on-shell diagrams in N=4 SYM theory to nonplanar with Britto-Cachazo-FengWitten recursion relation and three and four point U(1) decoupling relations.
Generalized for geometry constraints of loop-level amplitudes based on the discovery from
Nima Arkani-Hamed that planar amplitudes correspond to a boundary of positive
Grassmannian geometry.
Constructed the top form of loop amplitudes and used the top form to deduce NMHV planar
amplitude relations directly.
Researched highly nonlinear equations in functions and linearizelinearized it by
introducing Canonical Orderingcanonical ordering and Constructed Formconstructed form
of amplitudes.
Walking Droplets on the Surface of Liquid
JulyJul. 2012 - Oct. 2012
Advisor: S.E. Yonghua Pan
Created a Bouncing Ball model to describe the phenomenon that of droplets bouncebouncing
back after colliding with the surface of a liquid.
Demonstrated that surface tension plays an important role in this phenomenon afterusing
experiments with high-frequency camera.
Calculated surface wave induced by bouncing droplets.
