1.1
Intended use
The LOESCHE hot gas generator serves exclusively to generate hot gases in
accordance with the indicated specifications (see chapter "4 Technical Data"
on page 37).
This LOESCHE hot gas generator is intended for commercial use and was
developed, designed and constructed solely for this purpose.
The hot gas generator is an incomplete machine as contemplated by the
Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC (article 1 letter g) and is intended solely to be
installed in other machines, other incomplete machines or machinery or
combined or connected with them.
It may only be operated in conjunction with the associated plants consuming the
hot gases (grinding plant, drier, etc.). The thermal energy and hot gases
generated by the hot gas generator must be discharged to the consumer, even
during acceptance, inspection and operation tests.

Personal injury and/or machine damage!
This machine is intended solely for the purpose described above. Any other use
or modification of the machine without the written consent of the manufacturer is
deemed unacceptable. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage
resulting from such use. The risk is borne solely by the operator.
The machine may only be put into operation if the superior system in which it is
being installed complies with regulations and once there is an assurance that all
safety switching devices have been assembled and are fully functional.
Intended use also includes observation of the manufacturer's instructions
regarding the assembly, disassembly and reassembly, commissioning,
operation and maintenance (inspection, servicing, repair) of the hot gas
generator as well as compliance with the associated instruction manuals of the
relevant components.
Intended use takes into account foreseeable misuse, (see chapter "3.11
Foreseeable instances of misuse" on page 31).
The materials/media needed for operation of the plant in compliance with its
intended use are procured and used by the operator.
Proper handling of these materials/media and the associated risks are the sole
responsibility of the operator.
The operator must draw up a set of instructions for dealing with risks and
disposal instructions for operating and maintenance personnel. The information
in the safety data sheets issued by the manufacturer(s) of the material and
media must be observed.

The information, instructions and safety-related notes contained in this
instruction manual apply exclusively to this machine.

The operator must obtain the local type approval and adhere to the conditions
associated therewith.
The operator must also adhere to the local statutory provisions governing
the safety of personnel (accident prevention regulations),
the safety of work equipment and materials (protective equipment and
maintenance),
the disposal of products (waste legislation),
the disposal of materials (waste legislation),
cleaning (cleaning agents and disposal),
the environmental protection conditions.
CAUTION
Risk of burns due to contact with hot media.
Before operating the plant, the operator must ensure that the insulation and
protective coverings are fitted on hot machine parts.
Connections:
Before operating the plant, the operator must ensure that the local regulations
(e.g. for electrical connection) are observed during installation and start-up
operations if these operations are carried out by the operator him-/herself.
Lighting:
Note
The operator must ensure that the machine is adequately and uniformly
illuminated in all areas.
An illuminance level of 300 lux is recommended in the operating area
(maintenance value; ASR 7/3 applicable in Germany).

3.4.1
Requirements of personnel
Only operating personnel who have undergone training and instruction may
work on the machine.
Relevant experience is required for work involving assembly, operation,
refurbishing, maintenance and repair of the machine.
Operating personnel must wear personal protective equipment. The
supervisor must check that this requirement is met.
Responsibilities in respect of the assembly, operation, refurbishing,
maintenance and service of the machine must be clearly defined.
Operating personnel undergoing training on the machine must be under the
permanent supervision of an experienced worker.
Note
Operating and maintenance personnel will be trained by LOESCHE GmbH
personnel at the machine/plant erection site. If any questions or uncertainties
arise, please contact LOESCHE GmbH.
Note
This instruction manual is an integral part of the plant and must remain
accessible to the operating personnel at all times.
Comply with the safety instructions set out in the manual.

3.5
Safety requirements
3.5.1
Organisational measures

Provided safety switching devices are described in detail (see chapter "3.12
Installed safety systems" on page 32).
Maintain the requisite safety clearances specified.
The fitting of any part components for safety switching devices resourced by
the operator is solely his or her responsibility.
Isolating or non-isolating safety switching devices might be required in
addition to those supplied with the machine.
Safety switching devices must not be removed until after the machine has
been stopped and secured against restarting.
Before taking safety switching devices out of service (e.g. for maintenance
work), issue warnings accordingly and replace such devices or put them
back into service immediately on completion of this work. Safety switching
devices must also be checked prior to operation being resumed.
Safety switching devices must be checked regularly to ensure that they are
in full working order. Inspection intervals and procedures must be complied
with and if necessary logged, (see chapter "10.4 Inspection intervals" on
page 63).

Before starting any refurbishing, maintenance, repair or repair work, switch off
the mains isolator and attach a padlock to prevent unauthorised restarting.

Harmful gases, vapours and/or dust can escape when covers are open.
Ensure that adequate ventilation is provided (a means of extraction might
be required).
A dust mask must be worn when cleaning the inside of the hot gas
generator.
Express permission must be obtained prior to carrying out any welding,
burning or grinding work. The machine must be cleaned of any dust and
flammable substances prior to commencing such work. Fire and explosion
hazard.
Observe applicable national regulations when working in confined spaces.

3.7
Danger of CO formation
Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colourless, odourless and tasteless gas. This gas is
particularly dangerous in that it enters the bloodstream immediately and hinders
the natural absorption of oxygen. CO can escape at damaged points, for
example, on the flange gaskets of the hot gas generator.

3.7.1
Never enter the danger area without a second person accompanying you.
Preventing CO accidents
To prevent accidents involving CO, observe the following measures.
Install CO warning devices in workplaces.
The operating personnel must carry a personal CO detector with them.
Never enter the danger area without a second person accompanying you.
Unaccompanied entry for inspection purposes is only permitted when the
person in question is carrying a CO detector and wearing personal
breathing equipment.
If the CO reading exceeds 50 ppm, leave the danger area immediately and
notify the plant supervisor in charge.

3.8
Safety checks
1. Airborne noise measurement in accordance with the Machinery Directive,
Annex 1 (item 1.7.4.2 ff).
2. Check and inspection in accordance with DIN EN 60204-1:
Inspection to verify compliance of the electrical equipment with the
technical documentation.
Continuous connection of the protective conductor system.
Insulation resistance tests.
Voltage tests.
Protection against residual voltages.
Function tests.
The functions of the electrical equipment, particularly those affecting
safety and protective measures, have been tested.
3. Testing for leaks and internal pressure resistance in accordance with DIN
EN 746-2.

3.9
DANGER
The hazardous area for maintenance and repair work stretches roughly 1 m
around the machine or component assembly.
The swinging range of the swinging-out device of the burner and the swinging
range of the switching cabinet doors must also be taken into consideration.
Keep the area around the machine free of objects.
Observe the local safety regulations if the erection plan is altered by the
customer.

Beware of the hazards due to electric current when handling the machine.

DANGER
Direct risk to life and limb!
It is strictly forbidden to safety systems or change their method of operation.
The installed safety systems must be inspected at regular intervals.
The hot gas generator incorporates the following safety-related devices:
Automatic shut-off valves for gas fuels or safety shut-off valves for liquid
fuels
Valve monitoring/proving systems for automatic shut-off valves for gas
burners
Pressure monitors
Flame monitors
The plant must not be started up without intact safety devices.
Safety interlocks of the burner control system
The following safety functions are evaluated in the burner control system:
Safety chain prior to burner start
Safety chain during fuel supply
Flame monitors
Burner air pressure monitors
Warning due to perforated jacket temperature increase
Shutdown due to perforated jacket temperature increase
Mains isolators
Main switch, maintenance switch
The machine is connected to the mains power supply or disconnected from it by
activating the mains isolator.
Further disconnection facilities are:
in media lines manually actuated shut-off valves, flaps or ball valves
in fuel lines automatic shut-off valves or flaps
in lines for gas fuels safety shut-off valve and blow-off valve
Emergency stop system
The machine is equipped with an emergency stop system. The machine is put
into a safe operating state when the emergency stop button is pressed.
The emergency stop button is located on the switching cabinet, further
emergency stop buttons can be provided.

3.13.3 Commissioning
Before filling with fuel, purge all fuel gas lines with an inert gas to prevent an
explosive atmosphere.
Make sure that
Prior to powering up machines, these cannot pose a risk of potential
injury.
Working areas are secured to prevent unauthorised access.
Edges are made safe.
All auxiliary equipment used (e.g. ladders or safety harnesses) is safe.
Ear defenders are worn in the event of noise pollution in excess of 85
dB(A).
Hazardous areas are closed off to unauthorised persons.
The main switch is turned off during necessary retrofit or adjustment
operations and that machines are secured against unintentional
powering up.
The activities during setup and test operation are carried out by qualified
skilled personnel only.
Safety distances are observed.
Machine parts are not used as a means of accessing overhead locations.
Safety switching devices are removed only when the machine is at a
standstill.
A warning is given before safety switching devices are shut down for
setup work and test operation, and that immediately after this work is
completed these safety switching devices are reinstalled and restarted.
3.13.4 Operation

The operator must ensure that unauthorised persons are not allowed to access
the operating area and to the immediate surroundings of the hot gas generator.

Spiral housing
The spiral housing is a welded sheet steel construction.
Protective jacket
The protective sheath is a sheet cylinder or taper with round flanges at the end.
The protective sheath is bolted to the spiral housing and the hot gas duct.
Perforated jacket
The perforated sheath is made up of several sections. These are installed in the
protective sheath and connected to it.
Combustion chamber muffle
The combustion chamber muffle is made up of the muffle housing and the
refractory lining.
The muffle housing has a locating flange arranged centrally on the muffle flange
for the burner.

Transportation
Scope of supply
Note
Refer to the package list , the equipment lists , the packing lists and/or
the container list for full details of the scope of supply.
6.2
IMPORTANT
Possible risk to the machine!
Mountings may be installed only at the designated transport lugs.
Depending on the nature and duration of transportation, suitable transportation
locks must be fitted.
Note
Avoid jolts and impacts during transportation.
Handle the hot gas generator with appropriate care.

6.5.1
Crane transport
In order to lift the goods with a crane, the operator must provide suitable crane
types, load-bearing equipment, and lifting gear.
Please note the following requirements:
The crane must be designed so that it can support the weight of the
transport unit.
The operator must be authorised to operate the crane.
Fasten the lifting accessories (e.g. load-bearing equipment, belts, multipoint
suspension gear, chains) to the transport unit only at the specified lifting
points.
Use the existing lifting points for the transport of the electrical equipment.
IMPORTANT
Risk of damage due to improper transportation!
Use only the lifting points that are specified in the transport sketches.
Avoid any lateral application of force to these points.

7.1
Installation
General assembly instructions
Remark
These mounting instructions, including the instructions and guidelines they
contain, serve solely as a supplement to the drawings and must only be used in
conjunction with them.
We recommend that you have the assembly work on the hot gas generator
monitored by LOESCHE GmbH personnel. If this is not possible, follow the
instructions below:
Check whether the required construction measures have been completed.
The erection plan provides the basis for erecting and assembling the
machine with its components.
The lining of the combustion chamber muffle must be completed before the
burner is assembled. The time when this is done is dependent on the type
of refractory material used.
The complete hot gas generator system is shown in the RI flow diagram.
The burner apparatus must be connected in accordance with the burner
manufacturer's circuit diagram.
Refer to technical documents for parts lists, overview drawings and detailed
drawings.
Remark
Check that all components are securely tightened.
Retighten all screws, bolts and clamps (mechanical assemblies,
screwed/bolted connections in piping, etc.).

7.2
The basis for erecting and assembling the hot gas generator and its
components is the latest version of the plant erection plan and the assembly
drawings of the components. Please refer to the relevant technical
documents.
Manufacture of the muffle refractory lining incl. drying of the lining must be
carried out before the muffle is installed in the combustion chamber.
For more information, (see chapter "7.3.1 Refractory lining of combustion
chamber muffle" on page 49).
Mount the hot gas generator parts in the designated positions as shown in
the erection plan.
Connect the the corresponding pipes of the fitting section by screwing or
welding the supplied connecting pipes to each other. Adapt the length of the
connecting pipes.
Note
The protective covers on plug connections of the electrical component must be
removed prior to electrical installation and wiring. This requirement must be
observed particularly during the assembly of the machine to be erected
outdoors with regard to possible damage caused by atmospheric influences.

In the case of electrical components with a plug connection the specified
IP degree of protection is achieved only when the connecting cable for the
component is also connected.

7.3
7.3.1
Checking of materials:
A check must be carried out to ensure that all the materials have been
supplied as set out in the supply documents. A random check of the
materials should be carried out.
Weathering protection
Note
The refractory lining may only be fitted by skilled personnel.
Note
For further information, please refer to the refractory lining supplier's
documentation.
Drying of the refractory material must be carried out in accordance with the
heating curve.
7.3.2
Assembly of burner
After inserting the lined combustion chamber muffle into the LOMA heater,
secure the assembled burner to the muffle housing flange and seal.

For further information, please refer to the burner supplier's documentation.
7.3.3
Insulation

Check whether all the plant components are completely and correctly
installed.
Make sure that all the valves and fittings of the fuel section, measuring
section and controlled system are closed at the inlet and outlet.
Do not exceed the maximum permissible pressures of the individual valves,
fittings and instruments.
After completing assembly, pressure-test all the fuel-carrying lines in
accordance with the relevant standards.

Commissioning
Remark
Commissioning must be carried out or monitored by a qualified commissioning
engineer or by personnel retained by LOESCHE GmbH.
The following is merely a brief summary of the complex procedures for
commissioning the hot gas generator.
LOESCHE accepts absolutely no liability for damage which is caused by noncompliance with the instructions in this manual for commissioning and all further
applicable documentation.
8.1
Remark
Setting values and measurement ranges for the burner must be taken from the
burner documentation and recorded during commissioning, together with the
setting values for the hot gas generator.
8.2
Checks
Check:
the wiring for kinks, abrasions and burns,
the covers and insulation for damage,
the switching cabinet doors for ease of movement.
Carry out a function check of all the assemblies in Set-up mode and Manual
mode.
Check the function of the installed safety systems.
When all the functions are fault-free, the machine is handed over to the
operator.
Remark
For further information on the required checks, please refer to the burner
supplier's documentation.

Operation
WARNING
The plant may only be operated by operating personnel who are qualified and
have been trained to do so.
IMPORTANT
Possible risk to the machine!
Check before starting production that there are no objects (e.g. tools,
residual materials or similar) in the machines, units and piping.
Note
It is essential when operating the individual machines to observe the relevant
information and specifications provided in the manufacturer's separate
instruction manuals .
The individual machines can be operated in the Manual or Set-up mode from
the local control panels (determined by the operator).
The machines are operated within the framework of the function of the overall
system (higher-level control room) in automatic mode and controlled from the
central control room.

Operating Modes
The Hot gas Generator is started depending on the preselected operating
mode:
- Keeping warm mode (ignition burner only)
- Grinding mode
The HGG can be operated directly on the HMI or via the external DCS. The
operation location is selected via the change-over switch
local operation/external control panel.

Burner Preselection
An operating mode of the HGG must be preselected by the operator. This
operating mode will be displayed.
When the burner is requested via the "Burner ON" command, the start
sequence will be performed as a function of the HGG process status with
subsequent burner ignition.

The interval for reactivating the keeping warm mode is 5 minutes (can be
adjusted on BMS Level 2).
When the maximum operating time has elapsed, the burner will be switched off
with a shutdown on fault.
Following change-over from keeping warm mode to grinding mode, the oil
igniter will be blown out with compressed air.

10 Maintenance
10.1 General notes on maintenance and cleaning
Accident hazard!
The chapter Maintenance/Cleaning is intended for skilled workers only (see
chapter "2.2 Abbreviations and definitions" on page 11). Maintenance,
cleaning and repair work may only be carried out by skilled workers.
Before carrying out any cleaning, maintenance and repair work, observe the
notes and instructions on shutting down the machine.
Specialist skilled personnel must be deployed for certain specialist areas, for
example electrical engineering, etc.
Note
Operating and maintenance personnel will be trained by LOESCHE GmbH
personnel at the machine erection site. If you have any questions or are
uncertain about anything, please contact LOESCHE GmbH straight away.
To ensure fault-free operation, it is absolutely vital that the machine be cleaned
and serviced at regular intervals.
Note
When carrying out maintenance, servicing and cleaning work, follow the
information and instructions provided in external instruction manuals , the
subcontractors' outside documentation and corresponding in-house
instructions.
Note
When carrying out maintenance, servicing and cleaning work, observe the
instructions and recommendations in the burner supplier's documentation .
During operation, the machine is subject to vibrations which can cause
screwed/bolted and clamp connections to come loose.
To prevent damage, check the machine at regular intervals (recommended
interval for single-shift operation 6 months) for loose connections.

Note
Refer to the external manufacturer instruction manuals for information on
servicing/cleaning the individual bought-in components (especially motors and
gearboxes).
Record all maintenance work completed in a maintenance logbook.
Record the operating hours of bearings and components subject to
particular wear.
DANGER
Before carrying out burning and welding work, obtain the necessary
approvals.
When carrying out welding work, always observe the applicable safety
regulations.
Before carrying out any cleaning, maintenance and repair work, observe the
notes and instructions on shutting down the machine:
De-energise the plant.
Switch the mains isolator (main switch) on the switching cabinet to "0.
Before beginning any repair work, close the relevant manual shut-off
devices.
Vent the gas lines via the vent lines prior to all repair work. It is
recommended to purge the piping with N2 or CO2 at the same time.
Explosion hazard!
The use of compressed air or oxygen in conjunction with coal dust or fuel gases
gives rise to an extremely high explosion hazard.
This constitutes a risk to health and even life.

IMPORTANT
Possible risk to the machine!
Do not use any sharp objects or tools for cleaning which are not expressly
intended for this purpose.
Cleaning instructions:
Regularly clean all areas of the machine (well swept).
Dispose of material remnants, cleaning waste and cleaning materials on a
regular basis in an environmentally compatible manner.
At the beginning of maintenance/repair work clean the machine,
connections and screwed joints to remove oil, fuel or care products. Do not
use any aggressive cleaning agents. Use fluff-free cleaning cloths.
Before cleaning the machine with water or a steam jet (high-pressure
cleaner) or other cleaning agents, cover/tape closed all openings into which
water/steam/cleaning agents are not permitted to enter for safety and/or
functional reasons. Electric motors and switching cabinets are at particular
risk.
Make sure when cleaning the machine hall that the temperature sensors of
the fire alarm and extinguishing systems do not come into contact with hot
cleaning agents, otherwise the extinguishing system could be activated.
Remove all covers and taping after cleaning.
After cleaning check all the pneumatic lines for leaks, loosened
connections, abrasion and damage. Rectify identified defects immediately.

10.3 Lubrication
IMPORTANT

Use only lubricants which are featured in the LOESCHE lubricants list.
The lubrication points on the plant must be regularly lubricated with the aid of
appropriate lubrication tools.
The lubrication intervals must be determined by the operator on the basis of
the operating hours to be performed by the plant.
All lubrication points are lubricated with grease.
Follow the notes and instructions in the lubricant tables when carrying out
lubrication tasks.

Repairs may not be carried out on the safety systems. The specialists charged
with maintenance may only exchange complete components or assemblies for
those of the same design and specification.
Safety systems cover in particular the following devices:

Only nitrogen (N2) may be used as the cooling and purging gas. The use of

example electrical engineering, etc.
If the specified measures do not prove successful, please contact LOESCHE
GmbH.
Note
When troubleshooting, following the information and instructions provided in
externals instruction manuals , the subcontractors' outside documentation
and corresponding in-house instructions.
In the event of faults/malfunctions, it is necessary first to check the basic
preconditions for correct operation:
Is electric current available?
Is the correct media pressure available in the supply system and are the
manual shut-off valves and manual shut-off flaps open?
Are control devices, limit switches etc. correctly set?
Has the quantity of combustion air or the fuel throughput changed?
If it is established that the faults/malfunctions are not the result of the abovementioned preconditions, the functions associated with the burner must be
checked.
The burner is found in the locked intermediate position.

Tcnico
Por tcnico se entiende una persona que, gracias a su formacin tcnica, sus
conocimientos y su experiencia, as como su conocimiento de la normativa en
vigor, puede evaluar y detectar los peligros potenciales en los trabajos que
debe realizar.

Parada de emergencia
El concepto "parada de emergencia" se refiere a un comando que ejecuta una
parada segura de la mquina. Las paradas de emergencia detienen los
movimientos peligrosos
Desconexin de emergencia
El concepto "desconexin de emergencia" define la desconexin de las fuentes
y los acumuladores de energa en caso de peligro. Una desconexin de
emergencia desconecta las tensiones elctricas y descarga los condensadores.

extiende aproximadamente 1 m alrededor de la mquina o del grupo de
componentes.
Tambin debe tenerse en cuenta la zona de desplazamiento del dispositivo de
volteo del quemador y de las puertas de los armarios de mando.
Mantenga libre de objetos la zona alrededor de la mquina.

PELIGRO
Peligro inminente para la vida y la integridad fsica!
Est terminantemente prohibido inhabilitar los sistemas de seguridad o
modificar su modo de funcionamiento.
Los sistemas de seguridad integrados deben revisarse de manera peridica.
Los siguientes dispositivos de seguridad pertenecen al alimentador de gas
caliente:
Vlvulas de cierre automticas para combustibles gaseosos o vlvulas de
cierre de seguridad para combustibles lquidos.
Sistemas de supervisin para vlvulas de cierre automticas para
quemadores de gas.
Monitor de presin.
Monitor de llamas.
Si los dispositivos de seguridad no estn en perfecto estado, la instalacin no
se deber poner en marcha.
Bloqueos de seguridad del sistema de control de quemadores
El sistema de control de quemadores evala las siguientes funciones de
seguridad:
Cadena de seguridad antes de poner en marcha el quemador.
Cadena de seguridad durante la alimentacin de combustible.
Monitor de llamas.
Monitor de presin del aire de combustin.
Advertencia de aumento de temperatura en la camisa perforada.
Desconexin por aumento de temperatura en la camisa perforada.
Seccionadores de red
Interruptor principal, interruptor de mantenimiento
Mediante el accionamiento del seccionador de red se puede conectar y
desconectar la mquina de la red elctrica.
Otros dispositivos seccionadores:
En las tuberas de medio, las clapetas, vlvulas de cierre y vlvulas de bola
manuales.
En las tuberas de combustible, las clapetas vlvulas de cierre automticas.
En tuberas de combustible gaseoso, la vlvula de descarga y de cierre de
seguridad.

Peligro de explosin debido a mezclas de gas y aire inflamables o
explosivas!
Para reducir el riesgo de explosin, toda la instalacin de procesos donde est
integrado el alimentador de gas caliente debe trabajar en una atmsfera inerte.
El gas inerte permite reducir la concentracin de oxgeno por debajo del 10 %.
La instalacin debe equiparse con un sistema de medicin permanente de O2.
El contenido de O2 medido debe estar incluido en el bloqueo de seguridad de la
instalacin y del alimentador de gas caliente.

Para las tareas de elevacin con una gra, la empresa explotadora debe
preparar gras, travesaos de suspensin y polipastos del tipo apropiado.

Montaje
7.1
Indicacin
Las presentes instrucciones de montaje, incluidas las indicaciones y directivas
que contienen, deben considerarse slo como un complemento para los
esquemas y utilizarse slo junto con estos.
Se recomienda encargar la supervisin de los trabajos de montaje del
alimentador de gas caliente al personal especializado de LOESCHE GmbH. Si
no fuera posible, se debern observar las siguientes indicaciones:
Compruebe que se hayan concluido todas las obras necesarias.
La instalacin y el montaje de la mquina y los componentes deben ser
conformes con el plano de instalacin.
El revestimiento de la mufla de la cmara de combustin debe realizarse
antes de montar el quemador. El momento de ejecucin depende del tipo
de material refractante.
En el diagrama de circulacin RI est representado todo el sistema del
alimentador de gas caliente.
La conexin del quemador debe ser conforme con el plano elctrico del
fabricante del mismo.
Vanse las listas de piezas y los planos de sinptico y detallados en la
documentacin tcnica.
Indicacin
Compruebe la firmeza de todos los componentes.
Reapriete todos los tornillos y abrazaderas (grupos constructivos
mecnicos, uniones atornilladas de las tuberas, etc.).

Las cubiertas de proteccin de las conexiones de los componentes elctricas
no deben quitarse hasta que se haya realizado el montaje elctrico y se hayan
colocado los cables. Esto es especialmente importante para las mquinas que

de la intemperie.

especializado de puesta en servicio o por el personal designado de LOESCHE
GmbH.

compleja operacin de puesta en servicio del alimentador de gas caliente.

Indicacin
Encargue los trabajos de puesta en servicio y de reglaje de las condiciones de
servicio necesarias del alimentador de gas caliente al personal cualificado de
LOESCHE GmbH.
Indicacin
Los valores de ajuste y los rangos de medicin del quemador pueden
consultarse en la documentacin del quemador y deben respetarse
estrictamente durante la puesta en servicio, junto con los valores de ajuste del
alimentador de gas caliente.

Controles
Controle lo siguiente:
Si los cables estn doblados, desgastados o quemados,
Si las tapas y los aislamientos estn deteriorados,
Que las puertas de los armarios de mando se muevan con suavidad.
Controle que funcionen todos los grupos constructivos en los modos de
ajuste y manual.
Controle la funcionalidad de los sistemas de seguridad integrados.
Si no se detecta ningn problema, se proceder a la transferencia de la
mquina al personal de operacin.

Modos de servicio
El alimentador de gas caliente se pone en marcha de acuerdo con el modo de
servicio preseleccionado:

Modo de molienda
El generador de gas caliente se puede operar directamente desde la interfaz de

Peligro de accidente!
El captulo Mantenimiento/limpieza est dirigido exclusivamente al personal
tcnico ver captulo "2.2 Abreviaturas y definiciones" en pgina 11. Los
trabajos de mantenimiento, limpieza y reparacin deben ser realizados
nicamente por personal tcnico.
Antes de empezar los trabajos mantenimiento y reparacin deben cumplirse las
indicaciones de desconexin de la mquina.
Determinados aspectos tcnicos, como p.ej. la electrotcnica, requieren la
intervencin de personal tcnico especializado.
Indicacin
El personal de operacin recibe una instruccin por parte del personal
especializado de LOESCHE GmbH en el lugar de instalacin de la mquina. Si
tiene alguna duda o pregunta, pngase en contacto inmediatamente con
LOESCHE GmbH.
Para que la mquina funcione sin problemas, es necesario limpiarla y
mantenerla a intervalos regulares.
Indicacin
Durante la realizacin de los trabajos de mantenimiento, limpieza y
conservacin, respete las indicaciones de los manuales de instrucciones
externos , la documentacin ajena de los subproveedores y las
instrucciones internas de la empresa.
Indicacin
Durante la realizacin de los trabajos de mantenimiento, limpieza y
conservacin, respete las indicaciones de la documentacin del proveedor
del quemador.
Durante su funcionamiento, la marcha soporta vibraciones que pueden
provocar que se aflojen las conexiones atornilladas y fijadas.
A fin de prevenir posibles daos, revise la mquina regularmente (intervalo
recomendado en servicio de un turno: cada 6 meses) para asegurarse de que
no tenga conexiones sueltas.

Indicacin
Consulte la informacin de mantenimiento / limpieza de los componentes de
terceros (en especial los motores y reductores) en el manual de instrucciones
externo del fabricante correspondiente.
Documente los trabajos de mantenimiento realizados en un cuaderno de
mantenimiento.
Registre las horas de servicio de los rodamientos y los componentes
sometidos a un nivel de desgaste especial.
PELIGRO
Antes de realizar los trabajos de soldadura y oxicorte, deben obtenerse las
autorizaciones necesarias.
Durante la realizacin de los trabajos de soldadura deben observarse las
normas de seguridad en vigor.
Antes de empezar los trabajos de mantenimiento, limpieza y reparacin,
siga las indicaciones de desconexin de la mquina:
Desconecte la mquina de la corriente.
Coloque el seccionador de la red (interruptor principal) del armario de
mando en la posicin "0".
Compruebe la ausencia total de tensin.
Ponga a tierra y cortocircuite la mquina.
Asegure el interruptor principal contra la reconexin con un candado.
Antes de empezar una reparacin, deben cerrarse las vlvulas de cierre
manuales correspondientes.
Antes de cualquier reparacin, deben purgarse las tuberas de gas por
medio de las lneas de purga. Al mismo tiempo, se recomienda lavar las
tuberas con N2 o CO2.
Peligro de explosin!
La utilizacin de aire comprimido u oxgeno con carbonilla o gases de
combustin conlleva un riesgo de explosin muy elevado.
Podra provocar daos graves en la salud o incluso la muerte.

ATENCIN
Peligro potencial para la mquina!
No utilice objetos afilados ni herramientas de limpieza que no sean
explcitamente apropiadas para este fin.
Indicaciones de limpieza:
Mantenga siempre limpias todas las reas de la mquina (barridas).
Elimine regularmente los restos de material, los residuos de limpieza y los
materiales de limpieza de acuerdo con la normativa medioambiental.
Antes de comenzar los trabajos de mantenimiento / reparacin, limpie los
restos de aceite, combustible y producto de limpieza de la mquina, las
conexiones y las uniones roscadas. No utilice productos de limpieza
agresivos! Utilice paos de limpieza sin pelusas.
Antes de limpiar la mquina con agua, con un chorro de vapor (limpiadores
a presin) o con otros productos de limpieza, cubra o tape todas aquellas
aberturas, donde, por motivos de seguridad y/o funcionalidad, no pueda
entrar agua/vapor/producto de limpieza. Los motores elctricos y los
armarios de distribucin son especialmente sensibles.
Durante los trabajos de mantenimiento de la carcasa de la mquina, preste
atencin a que el sensor de temperatura de los sistemas de aviso y
extincin de incendios no entre en contacto con producto de limpieza
caliente, ya que podra activarse el sistema de extincin.
Una vez finalizada la limpieza, extraiga todas las cubiertas y cierres
empleados.
Cuando finalice la limpieza, compruebe todas las conducciones neumticas
para detectar posibles fugas, uniones sueltas, fricciones y otros daos.
Soluciones inmediatamente todos los desperfectos.

Preste atencin a que las aletas de refrigeracin de los motores elctricos no estn muy
sucias para impedir que los motores se puedan sobrecalentar.
Limpie los interruptores, pulsadores y placas informativas de los armarios de mando y los
aparatos de mando (externos) utilizando un pao sin pelusas (sustituya las placas que no se
puedan leer).
Limpie regularmente las vas de trnsito, escaleras y pedestales y elimine los posibles
peligros de resbalamiento.
Elimine regularmente los restos de material, los residuos de limpieza y los materiales de limpieza de
acuerdo con la normativa medioambiental.

10.3 Lubricacin
ATENCIN
Peligro potencial para la mquina!
Utilice nicamente los lubricantes especificados en a lista de lubricantes de
LOESCHE.
Lubrique de forma regular los puntos de lubricacin de la instalacin utilizando
las herramientas pertinentes.
La empresa explotadora debe definir los intervalos de lubricacin de
acuerdo con las horas de servicio de la instalacin.
Todos los puntos de rodamiento se lubrican con grasa.
Durante las tareas de lubricacin deben observarse las indicaciones de las
tablas de lubricacin.

Durante el mantenimiento, respete las indicaciones de los manuales de
instrucciones externos de los fabricantes de los distintos componentes.
PELIGRO
Peligro inminente para la vida y la integridad fsica!
No est permitido intentar reparar los sistemas de seguridad. El personal
especializado encargado del mantenimiento nicamente puede sustituir
componentes o grupos constructivos completos por otros del mismo tipo y con
las mismas especificaciones.
En especial, el concepto sistemas de seguridad incluye los aparatos siguientes:
Dispositivos de supervisin de llamas (sistemas de control de quemadores)
Monitor de gas y aire comprimido
Dispositivos de comprobacin de la hermeticidad
Peligro de muerte debido a sustancias explosivas!
Como gas de enfriamiento y lavado nicamente se puede utilizar nitrgeno
(N2). La utilizacin de aire comprimido u oxgeno con carbonilla conlleva un
riesgo de explosin muy elevado.

Peligro de muerte debido a sustancias explosivas!
Al finalizar el mantenimiento y antes de la puesta en servicio, debe
comprobarse la hermeticidad de todas las conducciones de combustible y
deben lavarse las conducciones de gas de combustin con N2.
PELIGRO
Despus de comprobar y sustituir piezas de desgaste, debe comprobarse que
todos los dispositivos de seguridad funcionen correctamente.

u clapetas de cierre manual estn abiertas?
Los aparatos de regulacin, finales de carrera, etc. estn bien ajustados?
Se ha producido algn cambio en la cantidad de aire de combustin o el
caudal de combustible?
Una vez descartadas las causas indicadas anteriormente, compruebe las
funciones relacionadas con el quemador.
El quemador se encuentra en la posicin de avera "bloqueado".
