I am extremely interested in applying for a high school level teaching position in your school
district. As a 2015 UTeach graduate from University of Texas at Dallas, I have student teaching
experience of elementary school, middle school, and high school in different districts around
Dallas. Through this program, I have written 5E lesson plans, taught science to Project-Based
Learning school, and have excellent time-management.
I took some time and looked on the _______Website and found the mission statement for the
school district to be intriguing. Many qualities of my teaching philosophy were matched in the
mission statement. The passion and enthusiasm that I have for teaching and caring with children
is made apparent by varied volunteer experience and enrolling in UTeach program. I am
interested in being part of a team of teachers who are willing to reach out to every student and
differentiate instruction to attend to all students learning needs.
